News 03.28.20

Get with me if you want to move up in rank. I'm going to change up the pack tasks for a little change of pace.

Congratulations to Adrian on her promotion to Governess. She will handle the guidance and teaching of our young pups in Iromar.

If you have a ^ next to your name, that means you're up for promotion so see me or send me a message on Discord so we can see where to move you. All others interested in specializing or getting a rank, let me know so we can figure out how to make that happen.

The pack board has been updated. If you wanted to remain a member, let me know either on here or Discord and I'll get you back on the board. Otherwise, let's have a thread!

I know I had a couple replies for the training with Spirane so I will be starting that thread soon. Stay tuned!

I am still working on an alliance with Diveen and Asteraia so stay tuned. If you have any information or would like to help, please let me know. If anyone has any ideas to promote activity within the pack, also, let me know. I am open for plots and such! Meanwhile, thank you all for your continued support of the pack.

One does not question the actions she insights. One does not regret the choices one makes when she is given the privilege to lead. Long ago, when I was being most small I was taught this thing, when once, a very Great King stood me beside him atop his throne and showed to me every corner of Moladion that gleamed out from below. We never regret, Heyel once told me and we never, never act without reason. Today I acted with cause, a cause most just to my mind and one most assured, for behind me so many of those I called my own lingered, shadows to my wings, each of them come because they believed most truly in that which I had decided. That enough is enough. That the death of one soul will be the only mark to bear against the gleam of the perfection of Diveen. In my own silence I suffer, in my own grief I will wade for Finley, I will not lead to war a Pack for reasons all my own, yet for them, when one of them is taken, when the soul of my Brother is threatened and Diveen itself calls for what they are owed I will not deny it to them. Jaidah will be punished when the right day is come, for that I will wait, but for Pack I will not, for Azrael I will not. Pack comes first, always first and perhaps it is that pain within myself that spurns an anger......not hate, for I am not a creature given to be swayed so easily by such things. I do not hate without reason and yet perhaps he who I wait for will be wise enough to speak carefully the words he offers to me this day and more careful still- those he offers to Heyel, for it would seem my sire is being ill at ease, discontent though such words do not leave his lips. I am born from him, I am knowing him and I am knowing that there is much unsaid behind his smirk and gleam. I am also wishing perhaps, that he did not speak quite so much, the darkened form of Iromar’s Alpha having no more then pierced the fog of a field once Ruvindra’s own when Heyel’s laughter spun and danced like wind most chilled on this plain so open. Never will I understand him, never, yet I have been learning in the years so long that his words are being true, that he does nothing without a reason and so indeed I remained silent, keeping my words my own as the dark one spoke and those wolves I called my own parted to let Heyel through, his words biting and sharp and yet even i could not help the slight touch of a smile that reflected upon my features, seeing perhaps his touch of humour in an hour most dark as he passed, moving into Iromar alone, though indeed knowing full well, as all do this day- he will not be touched, they cannot, for Diveen moves as one and behind me stand so many, so ready- though Heyel is being right, this is not an army, no, this is simply being a display of a fraction of that which I may create. It is a warning, Bapohmet. Not a threat. They are being how you say....most different.

I waited but a few moments longer as Heyel took his place, his actions so brazen, so bold and yet each movement an act of defiance in all he did and indeed perhaps in that moment, though never did my features change from a look of calm ease, I was seeing perhaps why it was so, so many had followed him. He does not fear- and nor do I. I allowed the violet of my gaze to lift in that moment, my own head high as the sun reflected with gentle cadence against the hue of my pelt, head dipping in greeting as I allowed my hip to brush in a silent moment against Azrael, his distress palpable now, his control a fragile thing and indeed one which inclined my speech to come quickly, for he would wait little before he became overwhelmed, his eyes glazed as he paced against my side. Perhaps this Bapomet did not see so well what lingered before him, perhaps, as his words suggested he did not understand, yet to look upon Azrael is to see a wolf not within his mind, it is clear, so clear....he need but look. I stepped forward in that moment, speaking now for the first time as I passed this Bapomet, gliding on smooth limbs and ethereal ease with Azrael close beside as was invited, head inkling upward to the large male as I passed.

“I am not needing to fear. I do not bring army, they are witness and nothing more. Witness I am thinking, to the good of your word. On this we are agreeing? We come within your pack, yet they wait outside, if we are not returning.....they come within your pack. Are we understanding? This is what I am calling, insurance, Baphomet and the decision is being made. I also ask that you forgive Heyel, he is being old as you can see and the old sometimes forget their words. He has seen many winters.”

I am not a little girl, I am not one who will be talked over or spoken down to because he presumes himself larger, nor have I missed the gaps within his knowledge, he does not know Heyel, this he admits and so I will allow him to be portrayed as senile and foolish, let them underestimate him, let them think of my sire as no more then an Elder, let him be forgotten. We are not so unwise, we Angels. Is my request not being fair? They will wait outside, my wolves, while my Father and Brother flank my sides and if we are not returning- they will be fetching us. I am not so foolish Baphomet. I paused then as I made my way once more to the side of Heyel, my Father and Brother pulling back in that moment to allow myself to stand in the presence of he who has caused this blight upon my Pack.

“Now we are talking and once more I am saying that we have come for Andromeda. She is bound in soul to Azrael, they cannot survive without one another, she and those unborn within her will be suffering, they cannot be parted from each other. You have also taken a Mother from her infant son, Andromeda has a small one at Pack, he grieves without her. You see before you this day what it does, you need but be looking at Azrael. To our kind it is a sin most great to harm or take the soul of another. This is why we have come, perhaps you are not understanding our laws, yet I am saying them to you now and asking you once more to return what you have taken wrongly and without true knowledge of what you have done. Yet know you are knowing, in the eyes of Diveen, you have been violating a sacred bond and now you are understanding. I ask again, return to us now, Andromeda.”

He would or he would not, the matter was being most simple as I stood before him that day, my own sides swollen and heavy, yet a fire and protectiveness so assured burned readily within, gaze held firmly against his own, unflinching, unblinking before this creature. Perhaps he understands what he has done, perhaps he does not. It does not matter- he knows now and I will not ask again.

PACK RANKS

Monarch
Pretty simple, Alpha of Iromar. Ultimate authority. What I say, goes.
Chief
The 'Co-Alpha'. He is her equal and has all the same authorities as she does. He is be respected and can take challenges and block steals.
Deputy
The Beta of Iromar. The most trusted wolf under the Alpha. Has all the same authorities of the Monarch in her absence. Second in command. Can block steals and take challenges.
Council
The advisor to the Monarch. One who's wisdom is often sought in matters of politics and war. Not necessarily an elder but someone the Monarch looks up to.
Trooper
The head warrior of Iromar. Shows the most skill in combat and has experience to back it up. Trains the soldiers and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Stalker
The head hunter of Iromar. Shows the most skill in hunting and providing for the pack. Tasked with leading pack hunts and teaching the pups of the pack at designated times. Trains the hunters and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Medic
The head healer of Iromar. Skilled in herbs and emergency medicine. Tasked with checking on the Monarch/Deputy after a challenge and also keeping up with mothers around birthing time. Trains the healers and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Envoy
The head diplomat in Iromar. Skilled in matters of politics and conversation. Intelligent and witty, this wolf keeps the pack together as one while reaching out to potential allies for support. Council is their direct supervisor. Trains the diplomats and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Governess
The guardian of offspring in Iromar. Skilled as a warrior and alert as a scout, this wolf is tasked with probably one of the most important jobs in Iromar, protecting the future of the pack and Moladian. They can watch the litter while the parents are off doing tasks, hunting, or just enjoying some quiet time. Can serve as guides for the pups, like having a full time guardian. Trains the teachers and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Snoop
The head spy in Iromar. Skilled in maneuverability and blending in, this wolf must be a shadow when called upon. Tasked with finding out information about other packs or wolves when called upon, this wolf must be quick as well as witty, able to make anyone believe anything. Also serves as a thief when the need arises. Trains the spies and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Chronicler
The head story teller of Iromar. This wolf has done their research on all things Iromar and Moladian. They can give a good history lesson or spin a tale on demand when the younger minds call for distraction. Able to captivate an audience. May even help with speeches for the Monarch when necessary. No one to train but the pups or even adults of Iromar when they have questions or curiosity about the past. This wolf may even be called upon by the Council at times. Can block steals.
Soothsayer
The seer of Iromar. This is a special rank made specifically for a wolf with "the sight." Consider her an advisor/spy of sorts for the alpha and rest of the pack. She/he can gather intel from outside or supernatural forces. You don't have to believe in the magic of this ability for any wolf with this rank will be respected as a ranked member of the pack. Can block steals.
Warriors- Members of the Iromar army. Skilled in combat and overseen by the Trooper.
Hunters- Providers for Iromar. Skilled in scavenging and hunting.
Healers- Doctors of Iromar. Skilled in herbs and emergency medicine for those in need.
Diplomats- Extroverts of Iromar. Skilled in politics and overall conversation.
Spies- Scouts and thieves of Iromar. Skilled in blending in and masking themselves when called upon.
Teachers- Guardians of the youth of Iromar. Skilled in defense and culture. They shape the young minds of the future.
Children-The pups of Iromar. To be cherished as they are precious for the future of the land. Shape them and mold them into something we can all be proud of.
Members- Overall pack members of Iromar. Not specialized in a particular field yet but just as important to the population.
