Being a loner had its benefits and its disadvantages. Like right now during winter finding food was a difficult thing to do when you have to fight for it. Just the other day i got into a quarrel with another loner over a dead fawn. It was horrible i had a scar running over my muzzle and another on my shoulder. But neither one hurt anymore, bit it goes to show what goes on when one becomes overrun with hunger. Snow crunched underneath my black and grey paws as i entered the mid western part of the crater. A long yawn escaped my jaws as i searched for a den to make into my own. But the only one i found was in cased in a patch of dead thickets. Ugh just great but it will have to do until i can find another den to block the chilling wind. I pushed my form forward through the dead thicket thinking they would snap but they didnt. They snagged onto my fur and entrapped my legs. Just great. Reaching around i attempted to bite loose but got no where. Now im stuck in the freezing cold and its probably gonna snow soon. Will anybody, somebody help me.
