The Cavern of Secrets holds much more than you can imagine. Once a forbidden place, the ban on entrance has been released...yet, is it a good idea to enter?

Once a great battle had been fought in this cavern, against a dark beast that had once - and still might - dwell here. No one knows where he disappeared to, but there are rumours...

Unlike most females that would have scorned and fused at the way Ly had shot down the lass introductions, this one seemed to be unfazed. The monster had to admit, it was the first good sign she had shown in the whole conversation. Sometimes emotions would fail you and let you down. It would give others a way to make you weak, to make you crumble, as Lycaon had learnt from past experience. Emotions were over rated; extremely over rated. The lad started to feel a slight tinge of respect for the ess. She had learnt not to be bothered how others treated her, although she still cowered and flinched at the smallest hints of violence. That was something that could be worked clean out of her personality. The monster had taught himself to switch his emotions off, although the thought of not being with his mate still made everyday a nightmare to live.

The new found respect the lad found for the lass quickly dwindled as the femme flinched at the sound of his voice. And just when he thought she was making a break through. She dipped her head and smiled politely clearly trying to get on his good side. However she would quickly learn there was no good side to Lycaon, he was all bad, he was evil, he was a monster. As his eyes moved over her scars the vixen’s body tensed before his statement caused her mouth to gape open like an idiot. Was she trying to catch flies or something? It was clear that he had rattled her bones with the sentence as she frowned and swallowed hard.

Her eyes closed and opened and in no time she opened her maw to speak. Although her voice was still soft it was a little stronger and more confident which made the lad smile inwardly to himself. She was a feisty one he had to give her that. ‘I’m neither looking for trouble, nor being nosy. I simply want some company… A friend if you will.’ The lad forced air out of his maw at the word friend. He detested the word. Friends did nothing good for anyone, they weren’t their when he was ordered to kill his own family. They didn’t help him and Lycaon would never be a friend to anyone. As he focused his attention back on the feisty vixen he realised she was looking straight into his eyes. A risky move he had to admit but it was better than the whimpering mess she had been before. She finished her speech, a smile plastered on her maw. It was clear she was rather impressed with herself for standing up to him and her orbs held a new look of confidence. “Do not expect kindness from me. I know not off kindness anymore and wish it to stay that way.” The lad snarled once again, although with each passing sentence his words became softer. “And if you came here looking for a friend I assure you, you will not find one in me. Friends left me long ago and I despise the thought of me ever becoming one. They are useless good for nothing gits! They say they will be there but in your hour of need where are they? Anywhere but where they need to be!” The thought of his mate snuck its way back into his mind and the monster let out an almighty growl. His eyes flashed angrily and his claws unsheathed. A blood red mist covered his eyes but the sound of the ess’ voice reminded him of where he was.

Calming down slightly from his outburst, the devil turned his focus back to the ess. She was defiantly becoming more confident with each passing second and for some strange reason the lad saw similar features to his mate. The ess once again locked her gaze with his and the monster felt his hackles rising slightly. A pathetic pup-like grin appeared on the vixen’s face as she answered his question. Once she had finished her speech, the lass flattened her ears back onto her head, obviously realising that she had probably said too much. Taking in a deep breath the lad spoke once again. “You clearly have nothing better to do with your life do you?” Lycaon was the last wolf on earth you would want to meet. “Mr Wolf. Is that the best you could come up with?” The lad snickered evilly. “However is suppose there is no harm in you knowing my name. It is Lycaon. And don’t say you are pleased to meet me because I’m sure you aren’t.”
