Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

Unlike Yoki, Amatus had had a stable life. His parents were the leaders and most of the members in his pack were siblings. He had been awarded the trophy of the pack – the leader’s rank but his soul did not thrive in leadership. The knight had wanted a family for as long as he could remember but he did not want to stress of alphas on his shoulders. The rank had been presented to his envious brother and he himself had chosen to leave and now that he looked back it had been one of the best, or perhaps even the best decision he had ever made. If he had not, he would have never encountered his mate – Yoki… It was strange. Yoki wanted him as a mate. He was the wolf that had never belonged. The wolf that was a disappointment in his father’s eyes. And she was devoted to him. His brown hazel eyes absorbed her body – had it been destiny? Had the broken angel been destined to stumble in the embraces of a royal prince? Amatus thought so. Amatus had been crowned a prince only to fall into the duties of a guardian – of the knight in rainbow fur… And he had gathered the courage to ask for her paw, for their souls to become one. That night had been so special, as Amatus recalled. The moon had been blossomed into its full prime and its light had casted down on the ground. The pair had shared a den. A den of their own, privately shared between those in love. He had confessed, rather shyly, his love for her. Looking back, it had made him chuckle. Hadn’t it been like this the last time they had shared a den? Hadn’t Yoki swooned in to embrace him…? That had been a disastrous night but luckily Amatus had understood. The knight had known that she had simply been confused, dazed in the politeness and the gentleness that she had never experienced before. No, the night of declaring that been special – with the gentle fragrance of flowers sharing into the den and the knowledge of safety guarding them from worried thoughts. It had taken many an hours to fall into slumber but once he had stirred into the bosom of dreams it had taken a lot to wake him up. Dreams had never been so happy, waking up had not been a burden for he had been able to fall into the embrace of Yoki. Amatus had still been amazed at her transformation, it had not just affected her appearance but also the confidence she produced. And yet, his maiden was still not able to completely accept compliments. She giggled like a love struck teenager – could she not see her beauty? Perhaps Amatus would have to try performing harder; make her see the beauty that she was. When his maiden, Yoki, complimented him, Amatus rose and bowed like a regal knight. He snuffled a chuckle as she reformed her posture so that she was standing straight. ‘You’re welcome... My handsome and brave knight.’ Amatus smirked and shook his head gently. “Well, my fair maiden, do I have permission for a small kiss on the cheek?” He enquired his voice curious and innocent. The night he had declared his love for her, had also been the night where he had warned her from the mysterious stranger who had stalked them off and on. Yoki had been more concerned than himself, as he knew that her past was full of torture and despair. Her father had abused her and tortured her. Amatus understood no matter whom or what the pair encountered he would defend her from more pain. The thought of her even going through a mere prickle of pain sent terrible thoughts spiralling across his mind. He would protect her with all his might, no matter what the consequence was; as her knight in rainbow armour it was his job to defend her from all misery. Amatus took his duty extremely seriously. Amatus had never been a much organised wolf, he did everything off of the top of his head but then again he never really had much to do… It was only until recently that the brute began to become more prepared. The brute chuckled, as she teased him with challenging words. “Will I my dear?” He asked with his brow rose in a questionable manner. Distracted, his eyes wondered over to the view once more – with its display of the many areas and landscapes that Blossom Forest had to offer. The next thing he knew, he was splayed out on his back. His dazed optics landed on the features of the culprit. His kissers pulled back into a bright grin as he batted her side with a brown paw. All whilst thinking about how this was so out of character.
