Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

"Run."
My first thought flashes through my mind; though I ignore it. My mind is set; I'd be going to the mysterious mountain. It was only a short distance away, though I'm sure the climb will be pretty rough. I can't help but grin at the fact; I was actually doing something daring in my life. Well, it wasn't exactly daring; I'd be hidden from dangerous loners, since my pelt was ivory and would easily blend in with the snow; maybe even blend in a little with the mist. I wasn't too concerned about bumping into any rogues, though.
I'm pretty fit, so there's less chance I'll fall or injur myself while I'm up there. And anyway, I'm pretty dedicated to what I want to do; so there's no way I'm turnng back now.

Beside me a raven pecks at my flank. I know raven's are basically like our bird cousins; they pick on us for fun and games, and lead us to kills, but this one was really starting to get on my nerves. It must've been following me for days now. I growl when it swoops in again and snap at it; gripping its wing in my maw. I give the little black bird a shake and let go. It drops to the ground. "Oops," I mutter, "I didn't mean to kill you little thing...Just give you a fright..." I nudge the little body and it gives a quick movement before jumping to its feet and hopping away. I just shrug to myself and continue walking.

Finally I begin the climb up Misty Mountain; my paws plowing into the snow. I had slight hopes someone might come introduce themselves to me while I'm up there. The climb isn't that bad, I mean; I'm halfway within a few minutes. After a while I make it to the top and begin to jog to the very edge. I stand, chest puffed out, posture straight, tail struck out. I then tilt my head back and allow myself to sing a quick melody of victory before trotting around. There were plenty of other wolves around here, but I don't bother any of them. Instead I take a seat just a short distance from the rocky edge and just look around.
