Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

just hold the line until the end, 'cause we will give them hell

There was little difference between her older sister being at the head of the pack, or her nephew being king. Though Persephone may have not cared much for Sulan's peaceable ways, it didn't affect her and her little family enough to have been of much concern to her. Perhaps it also brought Dusk a little degree of happiness, and it was only Jaye, Dude, and Dusk that made up the family Persephone knew (though Leviathan could easily now be considered one of them).

Weylin was still family, but family that was distant compared to the rest. Persephone did not grow up knowing Weylin very well, though it was a curiosity that he knew her own father so much better than she ever would. Through blood he was her nephew. Of course, the age difference would probably deem it more appropriate to refer to him as her uncle. It was a shame that Persephone favored technicalities over what was largely considered appropriate.

So when her nephew returned successful from his fight with their temporary king and called for them to gather, the young lady sighed and pulled herself away from her fish-watching (only the Moon knew why that had captured her interest) to lope across water and rock to meet the rest of her pack.

It wasn't too disconcerting to her, to have the power and authority shift so rapidly over her head. She was accustomed to the Everchange, and it helped assure that she would rarely be caught off guard by the shifting of time and ideas.

She arrived just after Brutus, who she used to be amused by as a pup, but now as she got older she found more of an annoyance.

"You are an idiot," was all she offered to the disheveled Jester.
