Careful steps bring Jaye and her small group ever closer to the mountains of Spirane. She can feel them beside her, the two Weylin had chosen to join her on this task. Though she did not know them very well, the blind wolfess trusted her pack mates and knew that they would not lead her astray. They were a team, a family, and if not for them Jaye knew that she would be dead long before now. She could no longer hunt yet they brought her food simply because she was a member of the pack and just like she trusted them Jaye hoped that they trusted her. This had been the reason the older wolf had asked for this task. To prove that though she was blind and old, she could still help in other ways. Jaye knew many wolves, whether by meeting them personally or by hearing tales of them through others. She knew of Boneclaw and Thunderbone thanks to Dusk and she had heard of how they had taken her child in and raised her into the beautiful wolfess she is today. Moonglow was the child of these great alphas and in Dusk's eyes, she was very much like a sister. Jaye had often heard her daughter talk of the great things Moonglow had done and the dark elder had longed to meet this wolfess. Well, now would be the day.

The journey had been long and hard for her as her paws carried her ever so slowly across the land. She was sure her two companions were annoyed with the pace Jaye had to make but she didn't hear them complain out loud, at least not yet. But it had to be this way as Jaye's dead eyes could not detect any obstacles. This area was foreign to Jaye and her paws moved carefully as her ears and nose did their best to point out any barriers. A few times, the female called Natalya would gently guide Jaye way from a tree or a boulder and each time the older wolfess would smile thanks and continued on her way. The day wore on as the three wolves from Glorall moved with a purpose across the land until, at last, they came to the boarders of Spirane just as the sun was starting its descent into the western horizon. At this rate, Jaye felt they may need to spend the night here as the return trip would be under the cover of darkness and the ebony female dreaded walking in unfamiliar lands at night. Though she had finally memorized Glorall and was able to move about with confidence there, in the open lands and other packs Jaye was lost and afraid.

The group stopped just a few feet shy of the boarders and the leader took a moment to gain her bearings. Ajax and Natalya stood on either side of her, or she hoped they did, and she thought it best to give them a simple refresher of why they were here. "Well here we are. Does everyone know what to do? Ajax, you are to learn the ways of healing from a wolf here. I have heard many great things about Moonglow and her style of healing is beyond amazing. I hope that you take the time to learn her ways to better our pack. Work hard and listen often. Natalya, you are here to protect us. As Weylin said, we could be in enemy territory though I do not believe that to be the case here. It is up to you to decide if you are to stay with Ajax or to return home with me. I will see if Moonglow is willing to make a contract with Glorall and permit Ajax to learn the ways of the healer here. I am sure you all know what to do, but it bears repeating. You are good, wise wolves. I'm sure you will be fine." With that said, Jaye gave Ajax and Natalya a warm smile before lifting her muzzle into the air and letting a summoning howl echo across the hills of Spraine.
