Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

Leila

A high pitched shriek broke the peaceful slumber of a dainty maiden. Her sandy cranium rose from the sphere of emerald grass sensing the need of some care. Her green ringed optics blinked a few times; where were the cries coming from? Lime eyes rested upon a small, young figure in the not so far distance. A small, gentle rumble emitted from her maw as she looked upon this pup. Yonna’s optics darted around; checking to see in anyone else possessed the healer paws. A grumble of discomfort escaped from her maw, it was down to her she guessed. Yonna’s sandy pillars rose from the ground she had settled on, her peace and quiet was once again destroyed. She checked her bearings once more and rode out with powerful strides, not once checking the carpet of flowers. It didn’t matter; she could not prevent the death of flowers that saturated the ground. Her pillars were with a quick pace for her frame was a light, stealthy build. Pups; she had no time for pups but she could not leave this weakling alone. It did not take long to reach the offspring of the unknown but once she did, Yonna reached down to her level and offered a smile.

Yonna’s lime eyes traversed over to the flanks and paws of the fledgling pup. “Lay still now, young pup. Tell me your name whilst I fix you up, I am Yonna.” She retorted tenderly whilst she observed the details. It had appeared that the young one had been stung three times and in a desperate attempt had managed to push them in further. Tutting to herself, Yonna bared her teeth – the front ones managing to catch the sting. She understood that it would hurt but she had not once been stung before so she had no time to register of being slow. She yanked them out, occasionally having to use her paw as a rake. Yonna had witnessed the stings of wasps before; they had been much worse than this. Wasps guts did not get torn from their bodies, they never let go. It made the sandy maiden shudder at the mere thought of it. Once she had retrieved all of the stings she delicately placed them out of their steps and tilted her head at the pup. “We need to find some water to numb your body. The pain will subside soon, you have been stung by a bee but it will not affect you long term.” Yonna explained, a confident smile held upon her canvas. “If it hurts to walk, I can carry you.”

A long rose tongue appeared from her mandible, casting a small lick around her eyes – wiping away the misery that had been caused. Great – now she had a duty to perform; taking care of this pup’s injuries. She hated responsibility, but it was something that had to be done. The sandy maiden cast a look at the young pup; silently she patched together a plan; fix the pup up and leave her off at a neighbouring pack. Wait, was that fair? Yonna sighed inwardly; she would have to see how she felt.
