Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

shiver my timbers, shiver my sides
yo ho, heave ho
there are hungers as strong as the wind and tides
yo ho, heave ho

Forgiveness? It was not something that Weylin expected to hear from his uncle. It was forgiven in the loss of the pack his Uncle had suffered at his own hand. Retribution for his failing to see the hurt in Weylin was paid and there was no more animosity in Weylin towards Sulan ever since. The thing that would make him an enemy would be his interruption of his now stabilized pack and the rule of him who they rejoiced in having returned to them. He sees sincerity in the other male, the male his Aunt had chosen, and so he does not say so much. Let the man feel the forgiveness he craves... It was already his. “I forgave you the moment my pack was returned to my keeping and my own plans to avenge my brother began to unfold. I will see blood paid for his death and I will be satisfied. I know it is not your way, Uncle, but it is mine and the way of my mother's people. There is a price to taking a life that is not taken in outright combat. Sneaking to and fro to take life is a blemish to the way of a wolf and I can no more stand that than the death of my beloved brother.”

He sits, bristling and hardness left him. “You did not have to leave me, you know. Your children would have been welcome here. What made you my enemy was your standing between me and those who would follow me and be glad of my return to my senses. I would not harm children, nor my Aunt, nor you if I could avoid doing such a thing... But I have seen such leniency abused and I did not know if you would pursue the matter of the Glorall crown further...” He is being open and honest, prepared to be as welcoming as he ought to be with family - and yet clearly cautious enough to not let his hope for peace with his Uncle cloud his better judgment if Sulan wished to trick him into a false sense of security. He had too much to do and he could not afford to lose time with more challenges if he was to get Glorall off the ground.
