Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.
A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

their coats blended like the blood that pumped through their veins. she inhaled the musky scent that emitted from his skin. the pace of his heart was as fast as her own and a soft giggle came from her throat. ”nervous, sweet one?” she asked softly, her eyes, wide and innocent, lit up with mischief. she gently nosed her face back into his cloak, shivering with delight at the contact, the skin on skin action between them. if this was wrong, then there was no way in hell she wanted to be right. his crown rested upon hers and she relaxed into his embrace. it felt good to be protected and held possessively by someone who wanted her not just for her looks or because she was well bred. it was wonderful. when she pulled away, he leaned forward towards her and she let a soft, mental mewl at the loss of contact. oh there would be plenty of that, wouldn’t there? it wasn’t that she didn’t love axel with all of her being, but she wasn’t sure. what if this queen was going to try to seduce him once more. the thought began to worm its way into her mind, planting seeds of doubt and insecurity in her mind. the thoughts began to eat away at whatever confidence that axel had managed to install in her. she watched as he tensed and his tail lashed angrily behind him and she flinched away, all too familiar with the signs of anger. in her family, the signs of anger were the signs of a beating. but his words were softly spoken and her heart wretched as he spoke them. green eyes met brown and she couldn’t look away. her heart pounded with relief and she stepped forward, eyes closing as he pressed his forehead against her own. she inhaled his musk, feeling it seep into her being, her skin. and honestly, she didn’t quit mind if he left his mark on her. his scent would trail her, everything would remind her of him. she didn’t care. he was her prince charming and nothing would change that. he pulled back to press a kiss to her brow and then his warmth had returned, fighting off the chill of the early morning. she shifted to stand next to him, her petite frame curving into his taller one, resting her head lightly upon his shoulder. he didn’t know. he didn’t know of the horrors she had witnessed. he didn’t know that she had been beaten by every male family member she had ever met. he didn’t know that sometimes she woke in a cold sweat and often times spent the night shivering and flinching away from every sound she heard because she was so afraid that it was her father or uncle or brother and that they had found her. that they had come to take her away. he didn’t know that she was afraid of males. he didn’t know that the conversation they were holding was the most she had spoken since she had escaped. he didn’t know that most of the time she was a mute. he didn’t know of the horrors she had experienced. if Tor allowed, she would have stayed there, nestled next to axel for as long as he would allow. his words flowed cautiously, as if he were afraid that she would leave him. the day that happened would be the day her body simply couldn’t stand any longer and her soul broke free and raced away into the sky. but, she allowed, she would of course come back to him, in spirit. she looked up at him and nodded. ”of course.” she replied softly, following him, nestling into his side. ”axel i’m not going to leave you. i promise.” she whispered, her eyes meeting his with warmth and love pouring into her words. see her shyness hear her innocence listen to her whispers |
