aurora borealis- noun plural: An aurora that occurs in northern regions of the earth. Also called northern lights.

In the middle of a dense forest of coniferous trees lies the Aurora Borealis pack, its name coming from its location. At certain times of the year, the northern lights appear, dancing almost magically in the sky. A narrow trail leads you through the close evergreens. Giving into temptation, you begin moving your paws. By venturing into this territory, you are venturing into a land belonging to a pair of feared leaders. You have heard rumors of them...but you decide to take your chances and hope that the tales of blood and death are merely fabricated stories to scare wolves.

You have walked nearly five minutes before you realize the sound of paws stepping somewhere from behind. Deciding that you've made a mistake, you quickly turn around, but find that you cannot go any further. Standing before you is one of the mighty kings you've heard of. His blood red pelt clings over perfectly toned bands of muscle. But that isn't what causes such fear in your veins. One of his amber eyes has a horrid, bleeding scar across it, and his good eye seems to stare right through you. His face is expressionless, giving off none of his intentions. You cower away as his jaws part.

"I'm Hell Demon."

His voice was deep and cut through the air like a hot knife through butter. Right where he left off, another voice picks up from behind you. You whirl around and find yourself facing another male with steely muscles beneath his pelt, which seems to consist of every shade of brown. He had startled you, and you're amazed how you hadn't at all detected his approach.

"And I am Ghost...we're the alphas of Aurora Borealis."

His deep voice was laced thickly with a Native American accent. His own golden eyes are directing a harsh glare your way. Now you're caught in the middle...your breathing has become heavy in your panic and you're not sure which to face.

"You've foolishly trespassed into our territory. You face the one called Hell Demon's whose voice is once more addressing you. Get out, or become a corpse along our border."

It's obvious they mean business. So now it's up to you...take your chances and stay, or heed their warning and waste no time getting out with your life.

Magic listened intently to the female currently at the border. Her orbs drifted up to her alpha when he spoke. He introduced himself and the rest of his words drifted into the wind, explaining about her intentions. Her name was Kobato, since the vixen was just introduced to this name since Kal had said it. She twitched her auds, remembering that her name was not present to the female. “Hello, Kobato. My name is Magic, a member of Aurora Borealis. It is a pleasure to meet you and I hope you have a fine time within our pack lands, should you be permitted by my leader.” She turned her head towards Kal in the manner that he was the leader, even though she already knew quite well. The vixen was puzzled by how this female was going to work. She seemed as a therapist of sorts, but the fae also wondered if she could heal wounds. That would be a very important skill, and it could prove to be quite useful. She turned her head back towards Kal when he started to give directions; she didn’t want to miss any.

Munashii Gekko has always been a strong pack. Kong told me that it is still so. If Aindreas’ scent leads into the pack, ask to speak to the alpha there. Be honest, and tell them of this fae. If she is a runaway, they should know of it. It will also give us a better idea of her character. And then, if you do deem the alpha to be strong and able, offer to him an alliance. If Aindreas is in the pack, he will make himself known – remember, I taught him loyalty to his alpha first and foremost. He will smell my scent upon your coat, no doubt, but you will know him by these features: his coat is as white as the first snow, and his eyes… his eyes are the same as mine. Arctics. Be safe. She nodded. She needed to remember the features of this wolf if she was going to seek him out of the crowd. Kal had said that his pelt was the color of the first snow, or pure white. His eyes were like Kal’s as well. She nodded again, taking in as much information in as she could. She needed to offer an alliance. Yes, Munashii Gekko was a strong pack, and they would prove to be a wonderful alliance.

She lifted her head high, looking right into Kal’s face. “I will not fail you. I shall go now, and will be back with answers.” She turned and dipped her head towards Kobato, then exited the clearing, crossing the border in one trot. The rest of the terrain was familiar, considering she had crossed the border not too long ago to hunt. Good thing she had eaten her fill before she left Aurora pack lands. Her amber orbs glinted in the shadows, as she was trying to avoid direct sunlight. The time of day would be easier for her when she got to the pack lands of Munashii Gekko, knowing that they would only be awake during the hours of the night. She smiled, and disappeared from view into the shadows.
