During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

Darkness surrounded the trees, undergrowth, brambles. Shadows engulfed everything the was present within the night. Oh, the night; such a glorious thing. The moonlight, brilliant and loving in every way. The way it glinted down onto the earth and was a companion to only those who were true to the night was... wonderful. The stars, such beauties, almost had the same velocity as the moon. Creatures arose from their day beds into a land filled with magic and wonder at every turn. The cool breezes of the night and how they were not as hot as the day; the way the moon wasn’t as bright as the sun. The light of the moon leaked through the trees, providing just one hint of light to those who were moving in the dark, whether they be lupines, owls, coyotes, anything of the sort. It was dark, the perfect kind. The wind agreed as silence was a giant player in this sort of environment. Perfect; so perfect. So many minds thought different. They thought monsters, creatures of evil lurked in the dark. Sometimes, these stories were true. But one of those that thrived in true darkness knew that this was incorrect.

Black paws lightly traced the area, silent as they were placed in the cold soil on the ground. These paws left marks on the ground, surely to be soon invisible through the power of the wind; they would not linger for long. The gracefully padded through the terra, silent since they didn’t want to be seen, or heard. The owner of these jet black paws, silent and stealthy as the predator she was? The black vixen looked up from a crouching position, scenting the air for the pack ahead of her. Her tassel tip tapped on the ground as the vixen’s amber orbs searched the terrain. She was heading to Munashii Gekko, a pack known for life in darkness and the depth of the shadows. She blinked once or twice, then her medium built bodice rose from the ground. Her bodice was one of speed, not of strength, though she did possess some of that power. She was a strong warrior, though already claimed. She was both claimed in the sense of love, and in the sense of a home; a pack. Why was she heading towards these pack lands? Stay tuned.

She had just come from Aurora Borealis, taking on a quest that hopefully held two journeys; one to lead towards the place destined in the journey, and one back. The black vixen was sure she would come back to her alpha with the answers to the questions he sought out. Those questions? Hidden between the lines of a curtain text, perhaps to be unwoven within the pack lands ahead. Probably not, however; she would keep those questions within her mind for now. Her auds twitched as they searched for a scent within the foliage, trying to find the lands of Munashii Gekko. The vixen moved again, a shadow among a shadow, a friend among the night. She wove through the thorns and brambles without snagging her pelt, and soon, the scent of a pack was ahead. She heard faint voices drifting on the wind, knowing she only heard them because she and the rest of the environment was silent. They were well hidden, she had to give compliments for that. She blinked once more before gathering herself and moving again.

She entered a small clearing, leaves and dirt littering the ground. The scent of Munashii Gekko was strong, since the vixen was in the presence of the border. She sat among the shadows, invisible unless one was looking for her in the first place. She raised her head and looked towards the moon, searching for the stars and the moonlight that loved her so. She treasured the way she soaked it all up every night. She didn’t see any green rays, the northern lights that glinted every so often in her own pack lands. She was here for two reasons; to find something within the border and to ask for something else. She stood, and rose her cranium towards the sky. She parted her kissers, and ver voice rang out into the world. It was eerie, calling for those inside the pack lands. Her directions were not to get hurt, which she planned on fulfilling. She closed her orbs in the process, hearing her voice bounce along the terrain to those destined to hear. She had not howled in quite a long time, and the power she kept inside of her rang true towards the wolf or wolves that she needed so they could escort her to their king. She lowered her head to its normal position, opening her pools of amber so they searched the shadows she had lived in for so long. She heard her vocals ring out and then silence into the world. Surely the wolves inside were to hear them, and she sat quietly, waiting for them to come.
