At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.
{We are sick and we are tired.} Apollonia only! IP: 94.170.199.94 Posted on April 14, 2013 at 07:45:06 PM by Lycaon.
OOC- N'awww he's all grumpy now but trust me once he gets to know her a bit more he will lighten up. He had to seen as she is his future adopted daughter xD
”Come on then Apollonia, unless you want to stay here on your own?” The lad moved swiftly out of the cavern not knowing or being bothered whether the pup was following or not. The plan was to lead the pup to water and leave her there. Now most wolves would feel sorry for an orphaned pup and take it somewhere it would be safe, maybe even adopt it, but not Lycaon. No, he really couldn’t be bothered wasting his time watching over an annoying thing like Apollonia. He was just going to stick to his end of the deal and then leave her. He hadn’t said anything about caring for her after that and that was fine by him.
His gigantic paws made easy work of the terra below as it changed from rocks to grass, however he kept his pace slow in order for the girls little legs to keep up. Once or twice the lad would turn his cranium to check that the pup wasn’t getting into anything she shouldn’t but his face still held the same emotionless state it usually did. Once or twice the lad thought about running off and leaving the pup on her own, however that went against his rules and despite his demons screaming at him to leave her, the lad refused. The sound of rushing water was becoming louder however it was clear to the lad that there was still a while before he could leave the pup behind.
The grassy terrain had now changed to forest, the trees hung over the pair like ghostly arms trying to catch their next victims. It was still mid-day however the foliage provided a leafy cover and formed shadows to fall over the land. Keeping his ears up right and turned back, the lad could hear everything the little princess was getting up too. Deciding that maybe, to stop the situation being so awkward, he should learn a little bit more about the leech he had acquired. ”So Apollonia, why, of all places, did you go to the Cavern? Especially with you being so small and vulnerable.” It was a mystery that had bitten the back of his neck since the very first meeting. No matter how much he disliked the pup he did feel a little curious as to why she was in such a dangerous place and so alone. What had happened to her parents and why, if they were still alive, were they letting their prize possession wander off on her own?
Engulfed in thoughts about where exactly the little bundle of fur came from, the monster hardly realised that they had reached the lake. Scents of other wolves, young and old, woke him from his views and he stopped still gazing at all the other weaklings playing and paddling in the water. Lycaon had no interest on paddling or frolicking in the water, all he wanted to do was get rid of the pest that was following him. ”Look I have found you some water. I kept my end of deal so off you pop.” The monster spluttered the words heading closer to the water’s edge. The quicker she got to the water, the sooner he could leave her. In seconds the giant reached the water gazing into as it rushed by on its merry way. Soon Lycaon would be on his own merry way, without Apollonia screeching in his ears every five minutes. The thought of peace and quiet made the brute sigh with relief. He could hear the nothingness of a cold, quiet den somewhere already... All he had to do was get rid of Apollonia.
