Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

calista

There was so much happening in Spirane but sometimes she felt as if she just needed to get away for some time - Moonglow and Alcide were locked away in their dens with their newborns and even RAINBOW had been absent caring for little Daisy and Butterfly. Calista had already grown a soft spot for the two pups but alas, she had not had the heart to ask Swallowbane for her very own Butterfly. With so much excitement, she had almost been drained of her energy and for once, she had decided to leave the pack despite all the warnings. Demons? Wanting to harm the Angels? It was unlikely! They had not done a single thing wrong and besides, she was Calista the Smart and she would be avoiding all the bad wolves in Moladion forever. Besides, did they expect her not to visit Diveen? Ameterasu had her own children but so did Aaliyah and Isola, and even Azrael! It was ridiculous and crazy and she wanted to meet every single on of their nieces and nephews and love them until they were tired from all their playing and running. She, Calista, would be the best aunty to all of the Angel-borns and all of the Spirane children if it was the last thing she did.

Of course, she had to bypass the Western Crater to even get a chance of seeing her relatives and though she had heard so many rumors of it being the demons' hunting grounds, what had she to fear? She was fast and oh so agile - they would never catch her! In fact, she had been practicing her skills through the boulders that littered the landscape, ducking, diving and weaving through the crevices with excited giggles bursting out of her from time to time. The most valuable skill she would teach them all was not to fight but to enjoy their own company and to appreciate each and every wolf and creature in the world! The boulders had their own stories and each time she accidentally kicked a stone from its resting place, she would immediately pivot to return it to its home - nature, like them, was to be respected. It was why she had taken such a shining to Moonglow - not just for Swallowbane - but for she seemed to understand the world, too. Spirane was nice and she was glad she had chosen to go there with her Swallowbane.

But, before she knew it, she had broken through the labyrinth of boulders and onto the river's shore and, almost, ran into the form of another; a tiny female, a grey creature who stood out on the stand and startled Calista - she recoiled back a step or two, her eyes wide before she breathed a sigh of relief. Her fear instantly turned into joy at the female's words and rather than doing the logical thing and announcing her presence through a yip or grunt, well, she simply went into a exuberant reply, her voice energetic and girlish.

"Yes! It is being most beautiful here, and I am glad you are loving it, yes stranger! Is you being new here with all this?"

She hardly recognised the possibility of the other female being nervous even though her body language put her in the 'on guard' category - instead, Calista merely bounced forward until she stood some distance beside the girl, her head turned to face her with a curious tilt. Despite having turned five come spring, Calista still looked very much delicate and youthful in her features - they were dainty, alight with a broad, almost toothy smile and pricked ears. She promptly rocked back onto her haunches, her thick tail curling over her paws just as her Pater had done and she continued to watch the girl with excitement. She was pretty, this stranger, with colours just like Sleekwing, Swallowbane's brother! Oh but her eyes - oh! They were something! Green like the trees and blue like the river - she had nature in her eyes unlike Calista who had been born with violet. She had flowers, yes, but this stranger... she envied her in her own way though she dare not let her feature speak of it. Instead, she yipped and laughed beneath her breath.

"You is being very pretty, stranger and I am thinking you smell like Diveen, yes?"
