Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

My c o l d desire
to hear the boom, boom,
b o o m of your heart

The appearance of long dead siblings irritated Caligula to no end. Was Elric alive then too? Mother's golden boy could of made it and Caligula fully intended to make sure that he did not for too much longer. Did that mean that Ajax was alive as well? The ideas that the half-blooded, unworthy creatures that sprang from her mother's womb had survived infuriated her. Tesseract may be more tolerant of those that were painted in red (because she noticed his tendency to tolerate them far better than she did), Caligula had no tolerance for those that were not from Nero's loins. How could he be sure? Although she trusted and loved her Sun Prince with everything in her dark heart, she did not believe in his distinctions. They would be eliminated if she had anything to do with it. Starting with Vidar, and ending with the newest brat if Caligula had her way.

She stalked past Baphomet's strongly scented borders, noticing for the first time that none of her mother's scent lined Iromar. It irritated her further. As a young adult she felt the strong pull for power and dominance and yet in Iromar she would be repressed since she was not Demon. Although she was tall and heavy, there was little chance that she could take on Baphomet. And if she did, would Ruvindra be safe from Demon rage? The fact that she still cared for her mother so strongly also irritated her on this sunny morning. She moved through the slop of the swamp, until her paws found more formed ground and she slowed down in her rapid pace. It was only when she slowed that that pink tongue hung out from her mouth, the mismatched eyes watched around her. The tall trees were skinny, their branches only on the upper parts of their bases and she looked up to see the way the blue skies made it look as if the leaves were black against that bright backdrop.

She walks a few steps further into the forest, finding the trees thickening, proclaiming their elder age with girth and deeper roots. The age of the forest calmed her. There was still time. Not all had been lost. She had her beautiful Tesseract. Celesdue and Phobia. Ruvindra. She had not been put out, and her mother had stayed safe through another folly pregnancy. The world was not over quite yet, and there was still time to make the best of it. Caligula was still young and there was still strength in her muscles as she stretches and flexes the ample muscle she had been blessed with. The anxiety gone from her body she was far more relaxed, and padded silently through the forest. She thought to herself how nice it would be to not live in the swamp where the mists seemed to contain all their mistakes and the mud desired them to never forget them. The winds shifted, she could tell by the sudden swaying of tree tops and the way it brushed against the grain of her coat. She sighed softly, knowing that the time for change was now. With that slow inhale she discovered a scent that she knew better than her own. Tesseract. She knew that he was never truly far from her but it still surprised her when he followed her on such outings like this. She stopped her exploration, and stood waiting for her better half to join her.
