A friend to many at TPD has died. Irene Miller was secretary and admin assistant from 1962 through 1992 to R L Smith, Chief Donald Newberger, Chief Eddie Gonzalez. As well as being secretary; she was the chief's admin assistant, worked in Vice, the PBA and the Police Museum. She died of complications from a long time illness at the age of 75.
There ill be a memorial service at 6pm Tuesday April 23 rd at the Victory Christian Center 9706 N 26th St
in Tampa.
Irene's son requests donations to the Police Museum in lieu of flowers.
