Laughing at his retort Selene drops the fish on ground. “I was the same way when I was you age.” Even now the girl loved and longed for adventure in any form. If the boy really liked to go on outings like this Selene saw no problem with him coming with her. It was better really – that the boy with her that was. The golden queen felt better knowing the boy would be safe with her when he left the pack rather than the young pup try to sneak out alone. The girl knew just how twisted some wolves could be and she didn’t want Mortz to run into one of them.

More laughter pours from her blonde and black lips as Mortz falls over onto the soft grass – turquoise eyes dance with amusement as the leggy boy puts up a small fight before tearing off a chunk of the fish. Her own crown dips downward to rip at pieces of the fish – teeth tear it to pieces before she swallows it down with satisfaction. Smiling at his enthusiasm Selene can’t help but fall more in love with the little boy. He was closer to her than most in Glorall, since Weylin had adopted him. Even though it had been somewhat of a surprise, Selene couldn’t be mad – she would have done the same thing in his case.

Mortz looks up after he finishes the smaller quarter piece he’d ripped off and seeing the enthusiasm his eyes, Selene grins. She tears off another section of the fish and swallows it before dropping the remainders, about a quarter, in front of the boy. “First eat this you will need food in your belly to keep your energy up.”i Poking his stomach again with her slender snout , Selene leans back wait for Mortz to eat the rest of the fish, or as much as he wants before walking towards the water. “Fishing is very tricky. You have to move slowly through the water otherwise the fish will feel you and once you find your spot you have to stay there without moving – sometimes for a long time. I think you can do it though.” Grinning at him Selene nuzzles the pup.

When they near the water her voice drops lower, almost a whisper. “The fish can hear you to, so it’s best to keep as quiet as possible. When we get in the water pick a spot close to me that way if you wanna ask me something you won’t have to talk to loud. You have to wait for a fish to come close enough before you strike. It’s hard sometimes – but it’s important to wait until they are almost right underneath you – it makes it so much easier.” Swishing her tail lightly Selene tries to think of anything else she could tell Mortz that would help him before they got in the water. “Make sure you strike fast to. They swim quicker than you could believe oh - and make sure you don’t wag your tail or wiggle when they come in or you’ll scare’em off!” Selene says with a laugh licking and poking at the puppy’s belly before turning to the water. “So any questions or are you ready?”
