Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Iblis started when Fly bounded through the waters towards him, an apologetic look upon her face. Had he said something to offend her? She seemed perfectly happy only a moment again as she was singing that strange song but now she gazed up at him with sad eyes. Iblis' ears dropped as he stared back at her but before he could ask her anything she spoke with a small squeak in her voice that made Iblis smile. Fly was offering to be his friend... It was an odd feeling for the lone warrior. He had allies, he even had an imprint, but never before had he had a true friend. She spoke about never being alone and in a flash she was off on another subject involving strange words. But Iblis was stuck on her offer to be friends and as he pretended to listen to her for his mind was not as nimble as her own.

What Iblis lacked in friends he made up for in enemies. He was sure that the whole pack of Iromar was on the hunt for him after his resent attack on their queen not to mention a few loners who did not share in his ideals. Would it be fair for the scarred wolf to bring such dangers to one as innocent as Fly? He couldn't be sure if they would hurt her to get to him, but he wouldn't put it past those damn demons to pull something like that. He was barely able to keep the growl hidden from Fly as the though entered his mind. If he was the reason she was hurt, Iblis would never forgive himself! Maybe there was a reason he was alone without a friend in the world. It was for their safety. Iblis was a dangerous friend to keep and it would be wise to stay away from him least you get hurt in the cross fire.

Iblis shook his head to steady his wandering mind and focus on the situation at hand. Fly was asking about the land and where she should go from here. Iblis smiled again and moved back towards the bank of the river, beckoning the white female to follow him. Once there, he shook his russet fur dry and began walking away from the freezing waters. He didn't check to see if Fly had followed him as he was sure she would. "This place is called Moladion and it is full of different places you can call home. If you are seeking a pack there are quite a few to choose from. I have never lived in these packs but I have heard a great many things about them from other loners like myself. Tell me, what are you looking for in a home? Maybe I can help you find the perfect place. After all, a wolf as pretty and sweet as yourself shouldn’t have to live alone." She didn't deserve to have a friend as bad as Iblis either, but he didn't mention that part to her. Better to show her to a place where she would be safe then allow her to live in danger and fear.
