OOC: Good ending it is! =) This is totally unrelated and I know Zi and Shadow only met, but when do you suppose they could mate/breed/have pups? Late May sounds appropriate to me. When do you feel will be appropriate? =)

IC: Zilo ran back as fast as her ivory pistons could carry her. A heavily muscled gray brute with a scar on his muzzle followed her. The male had claimed to have healed many broken bones before. Zilo had no choice but to trust him. She had arrived at Staircase Falls, a neighboring body of water, and had franticly yipped for a healer. The gray brute had walked up first, and seeing the scared and heartbroken emotion on Zi's face, had agreed to help her.

Zilo and Scar Face ran past foliage and puddles, only blurs since they only had their orbs fixed on the path ahead of them. Zilo pads were cracked and bloody, but she kept on running, knowing that the pain she was experiencing now was nothing to what her beloved Shadow was feeling. Seeing her mate hurt so gruesomly had knocked all the hope and air out of Zilo's chest, which now felt broken with her love for Shadow and leaving him, plus seeing his mangled appendage.

Zilo and the brute ran up the slope towards the Cavern, but it smelled wrong. When the white fae and gray brute reached the top, her fears where confirmed. All there was left was blood. Zilo couldn't control herself.

"How could he leave me like that?!" She barked in rage, but mostly sorrow and grief. Had he gone off to some quiet place to die? Shadow was in absolutely no condition to stand, let alone even walk. Zilo quite literately howled "Shadow, I love you! Why?" Meanwhile the gray Titan was wandering into the cave. "The trail of blood goes in here." He growled friendly-like. "Your mate couldn't have gone far."

Zilo followed Scar Face unit the gloom and saw her beloved Shadow, his dark figure hunched over in pain. "Shadow! Sit down at once! <3" Zilo barked, full of love. She nudged Shadow affectionately and kissed him. While Zi was showing her immense affection towards Shadow, the brute inspected his foreleg.

"Ah," he smiled comfortably. "Just a dislodged shoulder blade. I can fix that in a jiffy. And then there's a broken Ulna (lower front leg bone), but that can be mended in no time. Your a young wolf right?" The gray wolf chuckled. "It'll heal in no time at all." The brute then connected a piece of bark with cobweb to Shadow's leg to keep it still while it healed, and then told Shadow:

"About that dislodged shoulder. You're gonna need to ram it into a boulder. It'll hurt like hell, but you'll have an ok shoulder afterwards." He said. Zilo licked Shadow's cheek. "You can do it love." She murmured.
