Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

His breathing was heavy, the pain great. Coszcotl’s teeth grated together, trying to keep a straight face and whimpers from coming from his maw. A scar most likely would form on his neck from this meeting one that he wasn’t sure his thick fur could hide. The cream and brown brute dared not look back at the demon who wanted to take hold of the fainted wolfess. Slowly he turned though worried that this brute had done something to the girl to had caused her to fall. He had not put a tzitzimitl into her too? No she was so sweet it would be a hard blow, but the lore of the tzitzimitl was escaping Coza, he didn’t remember how they spread or if they could. They were rare and always killed quickly when they existed in his homeland, did they not destroy them here? Or was perhaps he was purely aleatory, and just a stray that had escaped their Tribes?

As his fire opal eyes set on the brute he noticed that he was backing away into the shadows. His breath stopped watching as the wolf’s eyes slowly vanished into the darkness before exhaling and panting. His heart was still racing. The large brute sat down and gave a sigh, "Thank you great Goddess for protecting us." He spoke, looking up to the sky, again feeling as though the light still shined on the Aztec Gem. Coza hadn’t noticed the fallen wolfess was now on her paws, his ears were ringing as the panic seemed to fade and his head felt light. Looking back down he saw his creamy fur covered with the deep red of blood. A little cloud of red in the water which he was sitting.

He jumped when the wolfess spoke, turning to look at her causing him to then flinch with a pang of pain in his neck. He did not like this at all; he needed to see a shaman, someone to give him something. He knew the seeds that reduced pain, beyond that he was lost. She spoke a lot of words though, he had no idea what she was saying, but she was up and her tones were nice. That made him happy, he stood his wet tail flinging water as it waved around, he simply nodded, again she spoke the apparently common tongue which was difficult but he was trying to understand.

What she did next was a surprise but welcome. Each lick of her tongue both hurt and was then followed by a bit of relief, he knew no shaman here, and hoped maybe she would know of a healer, but he would live, just be in pain until it did heal. Still he was greatful she was trying and let out a contented sigh as she finished. He did feel a little better, "Thank you." The brute spoke, he knew those words well and knew this was appropriate to speak them.

She thanked him as well and also gave her name. Hush. He understood and nodded, “I is Coszcotl, from far. Hush is good?” He spoke slowly, and also a bit awkwardly, trying to form the words, though feeling he did pretty good. Concern lased his last words however, he wanted to make sure she too was not being possessed or would be. The fem seemed fine and he was thankful, but she had passed out and he couldn’t help but worry about her state of wellbeing.

"This me speak your tongue."
"This is me speaking my Nahuatl tongue"
