Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens

As the two made their way into Glorall Ever is extreamly happy "op, watch your step hun" she says cheerily as she hops over a bit of a hole in the ground, probably a place where Mortz had started to bury something but had gotten side tracked by something else all together. She chuckles at the small boy and his antics for he truely was one of the cutest pups in all of Glorall, obviously until she met Aerith, because who couldn't love a puppy, a puppy all alone. Little Aerith and Mortz probably had a lot in common, more so than anyone would think. But that was neither here nor there. As they depart from the mainland part of Glorall she spots the ocean-river up a head, she wonders if Aerith can or wants to swim across and decides to follow the sands along the coast till she finds the little wood and rock bridge that Pan had built just after they'd come to this land.

"Welcome to Glorall Aerith, the land we've already passed over is the mainland portion of our home, and over there, across the bridge is the central Island of our home." She smiles down, glad to have found the yough pup when she had, who knew what would happen without guidence or atleast a bit of help in the food department. "Don't worry. the bridge is safe, a dear friend of mine Pan built it, and another friend Selene, our queen, she walked across it the first time to make sure all was well" she said before quickly hopping onto the bridge. It did creek a bit but nothing to bad. She moved forward enough to allow Aerith a spot on the bridge before she headed across.

On the otherside, she was quiet surprised to find Mortz sitting on the shoreline looking down at the fish that floated this way and that in the waters, his coat was a mottle of browns like Ever's own but his were a bit lighter in tones, slightly duller one might say, but by the look of him there was no doubt that it wouldn't be his colors that he showed off to the world but his size. Mortz would be a big boy when he got older, much bigger than Aerith but the two were of the same age and this chance meeting could mean a blooming friendship between the two of them. "Hi Mortz!" she says out loud a bit to loud perhaps but she was excited for the pups to get to know one another "Hello Miss Everchime! oooo who's this!?" he responded as he galloped over, long legs a floppin' as he ran. "Mortz, this is Aerith, she's come to live with us under my care, Aerith this is Mortz one of the pups I babysit here when their parents go on hunts" she says beaming a smile at both pups as Mortz ambles over with a wagging tail and bright orange eyes. Where Ever's are toned down they still hold a bit of spice to the, Mortz are aflame with curiosity and excitement at finally having someone small like him, well... Ajax wasn't small compaired to Mortz, to play with! besides, it was always fun having friends.
