She has not moved from her laying position, her stomach pressed to the ground and her eyes staring straight ahead with her legs beneath her. She does not wish to move, does not wish to break the seemingly calm silence that has fallen over them. That is, of course, until she feels the vibrations of paw steps drawing closer. She does not move until she feels the grip on her scruff, so painfully familiar that she wants to cry again. Her heart however, rejoices that he still does this, that his touch sends flames of recognition and desire coursing through her veins as it always has. She stays still for a few moments, not fully registering what it was he was doing. Not fully wishing to come to terms with such an act just yet. She stays silent, her eyes slipping closed as a soft sigh escapes her. She stands, her ears moving back to tilt toward him.
