Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

these people keep to themselves,

Yeah, it had been no big issue taking down the bull seal - nope, none at all. Was that so hard to imagine? Beast hadn't stood a chance, what with over ten wolves taking to its throat - hell, even she'd managed to get a good hit in and secure their victory. It was only fitting, though, for she had been born to the beach and belonged to it; the bull seal had only made her feel more at home on the sands of Glorall. If there had ever been a doubt in her mind that she did not belong, it had long since been quelled; with her teeth firmly planted into the thick skin and blubber of the bull, she was in her element. She chewed and took it upon herself to fill her stomach as fast as possible, her tail arched up to her rank as it waved stiffly - she was no harsh spirit but, well, she hadn't had such a good meal in such a long time and there was no way in hell she'd be giving it away to just anybody. Lest any get to close, they'd be met with a rapid snap of her teeth - no intent to hurt, just to... back off, alright?

With her blunt claws firmly dug into the fur and skin, she remained partially on top of the kill, taking to the barely touched neck and ribs. It was only the sight of Latika from the corner of her eye that brought her attention away from the kill - she was easily noted, the small prize d'Mani had taken so long ago. She was small, so shy and with a friendly wave of her tail, d'Mani sought to meet the girl's gaze - that's right, she still was not giving up hope that one day she'd be able to make a friend.

"Latika, come here! I have saved you some of the best bits," she called out, beckoning forward with a paw as she shuffled aside to allow the smaller girl her fill; if another attempted to take the place, she'd have no quarrel with taking an eye or two. They were pack, yes, but respect was earned not gained in the eyes of d'Mani at least.
