a decent sized snapping turtle (just over 12 inches long) was sitting on the road
it didn't appear to have been hit by a car despite a fairly high volume of traffic going by
managed to pick it up, grasping the shell on either side of the tail, and move it over the road without being strafed by toenails or chomped by the gaping maw
was disinfecting my hands when i happily saw it move down into the pond and away from the road Replies: There have been no replies.
