A chalky, almost colorless, doxy slips among the shadows overcast from tall ageing oaks. The young wolf regularly stumbled, though never once lost her balance completely. Her destination was Romance River; a place she hoped she could find her mate. It'd been the donnas only dream: to have a mate, raise a family. But most of the time it seemed nearly impossible, wolves could enter the creatures life and quickly leave as though she meant nothing to them. By now, of course, she was use to it. A lot of times she was turned down, too, because she'd not yet been accepted into a pack and lived as a rogue, or a loner as some called it.

At last she rounded a corner and crept through some bush and shrub. Emerging on the other side the fae finally caught a glimpse of the river. Right away she felt at home, comfortable and relaxed; despite the fact there were a heap of other wolves roaming around with their new found mate. A feeling of dread overcame the small ivory wolf. Did she belong here? Maybe she was suppose to turn back and disappear before anyone spotted her. However she pushed the thoughts to the back of her mind and continued on her way, a determined look crossing onto her face.

Finally she reached the lake and let out an almost silent sigh of relief. The next mission was to find someone she could relate to, or have an enjoyable conversation with. There was no use trying to find a partnership with someone you can't relate with. Sitting down, the fae wraps her tail around her small pearly paws and looks around. She'd always been shy, she'd always wait for someone to approach her. That was one of the main things that turned wolves off her - she was so quiet. The other thing was that her brother, Katon, seemed to follow her around all the time - though she was lucky today, he was with a new-made friend.

The fae lay down on her side and stretch out. The warm sun shined down on her, lighting her fur like a ribbon of diamonds. There'd never been much interesting about Indigo, other than the usual stories she'd tell people; though most were fictional. These days no one bothered the she-wolf, she was like a ghost; only living. A lot of the time she became saddened, of course, though never depressed. As with the mate situation, she'd grown completely use to it. Though maybe today would be her lucky day; maybe today someone would come along and enjoy the company she gives. The thought gave the wolf a quick thrill and her tail spanked against the ground.
