The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.

All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.

Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

The Killer Of Autumn [:DONE:]
IP: 216.164.12.78

AutumnLeaf had stuff pondering on his mind that he could not exactly clear. His siblings; where were they? In fact, were they still living? Probably not. SpringLeaf probably fell into a ditch or something, SummerLeaf probably died of eating something bad or fighting, and WinterLeaf, well, he was old.

The chesnut, auburn, and sand tinted wolf kept his head up and looking forward, keeping the position of a warrior, that one should be keeping, instead of slouching and not keeping the respect for the commander of warriors, even better, the Alpha. His amber eyes were like stone, showing no emotion at this moment, besides the spark of curiosity at only one idea.

None of his fellow warriors were here. He wouldn't worry, AutumnLeaf already was here and reported his duty. It was funny though, were they dead? Of course not, warriors stronger than him wouldn't miss out, right?

He judged wrong. After a while for waiting, no pone else came, and the scents of any one of them didn't float on the breeze. Why were they not here, listening to their commander's next tasks for them? It made no sense, though this boy was almost an adult. And it was the same with the commander. "Autumnleaf, do you mind contributing to why you think your brothers in arms have not answered their commander's call?" Honestly, Autumn had no answer to that question, but had to think of one, fast. Marx sounded angry. And there it was.

"I honestly would not know, Commander Marx. Maybe out of Blossom, or out of hearing range? Maybe even going after eachother with an affair? Who knows, only them; I don't get my nose into others' businesses. I stayed with the pack, rather than running off with a loved one, which I have none."

It was decently long, but not too long. And yet, it covered the whole range of what they could be doing. And when he was finished, his manager spoke again."At-eaze soldier. You have acted loyally and I have already seen you spar and know your worth in a fight. I have no hesitation in promoting you to full duty." Autumn's ears stayed perked the whole time, and he kept all his attention on listening. When he finally managed to take it all in, a small smile slid on his face, but then went off. Wax on, wax off. His reply was not stern, but regular with a bit of happiness behind it.

"Thank you Commander, I never thought I deserved this promotion."

Marx spoke once again, and this time he paid even more attention to the rules and regulations of this change. So another pack spied on us, rumor has it. Probably one of those goody-two-shoes packs. Ha. A pause was taken from the speaker, and he kept speaking then. Once he had finished, AutumnLeaf had one question, but he felt stupid by asking it.

"Yes, but it's only one sir. what do you mean by know-pack wolves? I feel stupid for asking this, I'm sorry for bugging you about this simple thing."

Worry was painted a bit on his face, but he kept his stance. One flaw, and he'd be doomed.
