Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

He wasn’t sure what to think. This Amir wolf was being so nice and what was worse was Cloud could tell he meant it. Or did he? He wanted to believe someone except dead mother actually showed kindness in this world. The blond male didn’t understand though, why him? Everyone his whole life had always picked and treated him as subpar. There were reasons he thought, but did they not mean anything here? He couldn’t be certain. The teen was curious though, the brute said he was looking for a replacement for him, he was getting a promotion. So wherever they were going apparently they were capable of moving up in rank.

He simply nodded in affirmative and let a soft ‘hrm’ sound escape his maw. More questions, more curiosities, it seemed so different from his home. Perhaps it was. He was so uncertain, he didn’t know what to think or believe. It didn’t hurt to go see though… Right?

Cloud heard Amir’s whimper when he had said he hadn’t needed his help. It was true, he was find and would be okay without him, but the brute seemed to hinge on the idea now that he did need help. Why? Why did he even care about some scrap mutt running about in an unknown land? Why was he so nice? It confused him, but he could see the pleading in his eyes and in his voice, it was all so, genuine. No one save his mother ever gave two tails about how he felt or if he needed anything.

”Fine I will go with you, and maybe get some help if you think I need it so much.” The boy conceded with a sigh, ”Really I just want to see this pack you speak so highly of. My old home sounds nothing like what you describe.” Not entirely true, the ranks sounded fine but it was mostly Amir’s personality that allotted the curiosity and the fact the pack was very different.

Cloud took his invitation to join him to go to Diveen, following slightly behind on his raw paws. The grass thankfully felt good on them, but he just wanted to see if things were really that different here. Giving a little nod of his head that clearly said, ‘well lead the way’ Clould would then follow. Perhaps this was a mistake, maybe they would put up with his hardheadedness and less than social mannerisms. He would see, deep inside he did hope it was different and he could be the replacement Amir needed. Being a warrior, that just sounded right up his ally.
