Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Mornings are a strange thing. They’re so bright and sunny sometimes, the sky simply starting to bleed out. It bleeds… yes, it bleeds. He doesn’t always think this much, but maybe he does. Heart is left alone to his thoughts far too much, and it makes his head hurt. So many things just… make him hurt. Heart doesn’t like to hurt, so he stops himself short… a lot. There’s a lot of stop and go, and that’s okay. The young man can hold onto enough things to the point of things being okay. Smile. Just fake a smile. You’ll be okay in the end. He figures he’ll be okay in the end.

Heart hears the woman speak, and he moves closer to the source of the sound. At least she’s pretty. The dark and red gentleman fixes the female with a gaze that’s neutral. He’s gentle, sometimes. Sometimes he’s… okay. He can be okay. He’s allowed to be okay, is he not? Heart’s tail swishes—normal canine interaction was something he could deal with. There’s the wag of a tail, softly, but it comes. Yes, he can handle plenty of things if he really tried hard enough. Heart knows enough things to keep track of… to keep track of his life. To keep track of normal social interaction. The young man knows well enough.

He watches. The young woman has pretty eyes, and that draws him in more. Yes, she’s very pretty. “I appreciate it… owe you one.” The young man nods softly, moving closer to the female. It’s a soft gait he uses, seeming to float slightly over the ground as he makes his way closer to the fish and the young woman that had been eating it. His own burning bright eyes are gentle on her face, curious. He can wonder. “Name’s Heart, and I don’t bite either.” That was… easy enough. Yes, things were easy enough in Heart’s world.
