Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

He'd had to deal with the loss of his birth mother, though the bond hadn't been the same as it would have been for Micteca. It was more loose, because of the whole family dynamic. But although that was true and because of how he was suppost to be raised once weaned from his mother.... he was more distant over all. Probably because his fathers had been distant in some ways, and Hawthorn had tried to do his best to fill in the gaps, but it made Sabriel confused over it and unsure how to feel. It did not hit him the same way it would others. He was more or less on his own for a long while already, so it didn't hurt that much to know one was gone.

Her words cause him to shake his head. "No, don't be. We weren't that close..." A shrug, and he eyes his front paws for a second, feeling uneasy about that topic. It wasn't normal or good, was it? And what did that say about him? Did it mean anything about his own likfe and how he would be? He certainly hoped not! He did not want to make the same mistakes as his parents. He could be more like Hawthorn, maybe. He glanced up at her when she talked about Diveen and how the leaders wouldn't blame him for what had been done. Isola and Kane. Kane must have been who his father had fought. Had to be. He thinks about it a little. "Maybe not..." He shifts, not sure on that one.

Sabriel blinked at her next words and tilted his head just so; curious. Would he like to do something? Do what, exactly? Might as well ask. "Do what?" A light inquiry as he stepped closer with a sway of his tail. And of course the other thoughts running through his head were there, and he knew he had to find out what was up with where they were headed or not headed. That much at least, so he had an idea where they stood on things. "Micteca?" A pause, uneasy to ask this, but knowing he still should. To know. He really wanted to know. "How do you feel about the betrothal thing? About me?" And there it was. Sabriel was a bundle of nerves as he waited for her answer; wondering.
