Taniku was already in the water when Texas and his dragon showed up. She was a green tigress and therefore looked like floating water plants in the water. It was hard to find anything that scared this tigress now a day. She’d been through so much in her filled life, an after many years on the mountain she’d seen so much. Her diligence in its protection had awarded her a place as a rank of the mountain. It also meant she was known. She was the only feline rank on the mountain, She was the only green tiger on the mountain, and she was the only Taniku, only because well there could only be one. She was revered as the best fisher on the mountain and this water plant technique was the way to getting that reputation. When she was deciding to come fish she had thought about what she could use to help with fishing. Taniku thought it would be fun to be a mer creature, but remember she didn’t have that blessing yet, then she though, okay maybe gill, but alas she had not procured that blessing yet either. It made her laugh that thought, she loved to fish and she never sought out the blessing that could help with that.

So she decided she’ll use Green Paw vine. These vines would have a twist to them; they would be procured with thorns. So in the water she sat still waiting for the fish to forget she was there. Her fur felt like silk in the water, the fish loved swimming through her legs. Taniku smiled to herself, because, well she was under water. One, two, three fish gathered and if she didn’t love fish so much she would have been sated with what was presented. Then there was four, five and six, nice sided fish swimming and playing in her area. Taniku was stealthy; she invoked the blessing without much of an effort. Taniku used her blessings regularly in her own private trainings. The vines wrapped around the fish without much of a fight, when tightened the fish grew limp and the vines and Taniku emerged from the water. On top of the water she saw Ray the dragon fishing and Texas the wolf sitting on the land. She smiled at the pair, reminded her of how she and Tumatri used to be. Taniku’s first dragon, she could never forget him.

With fond memories, and fish on vines following her, Taniku walked over to Texas and introduced herself. “Hello I am Taniku, how are you and your fine dragon friend doing?” She asked allowing the vines to put the fish down between she and Texas. Six large bass was lying dead and limp between the two. In no time Taniku was try using her fire blessings to dry her.
