At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

In a few short weeks, so much had changed. She had joined Cold Summers, made new friends, grown up quite a bit, and now was revelling in the biggest development yet: She had adopted a pup! Forbidden Secret was possibly the only wolf who she hadn't been instantly snarky or suspicious towards on sight. Some part of her had sympathised with the chestnut pup, and she had melted in an instant. They both had abandonment issues, but she was sure they could work through it together. Right now, however, she was at Leisure Lake for a purpose. Forbidden had serious burns across his rump, which were causing him pain. She wouldn't allow that for much longer, her eyes already searching for aloe vera and poppies. Twisting her head to smile softly at the child, she spoke softly, "Forbidden, do you want to rest while I look for things for those burns?" After all, he had walked quite a bit recently. He wasn't an adult like she was, and she knew all this wasn't just daunting for her, but for him as well. Her heart went out to the poor pup. He just couldn't catch a break. Another thought had suddenly occurred to her. "Oh! Are you hungry by the way?" It was things like this she'd have to remember. The femme didn't each much at all, preferring to catch her own small game as opposed to game caught on pack hunts, however as a pup Forbidden probably ate considerably more often than she did. Embarassment flooded her features. She needed to get her act together. |
