The Cavern of Secrets holds much more than you can imagine. Once a forbidden place, the ban on entrance has been released...yet, is it a good idea to enter?

Once a great battle had been fought in this cavern, against a dark beast that had once - and still might - dwell here. No one knows where he disappeared to, but there are rumours...

Water rippled out into every direction once the red drop of blood plummeted to the surface, causing a light clap of sound, followed by a near deafening, awkward silence. However, it was not one droplet, but several- not quite in a stream, but a continuous barrage of one after another, beginning to slow down and come to a halt. The figure panted with exhaustion as it laid it's head down upon the rocks overlooking the stream leading out of the cave. Only a few meters inside, and already one could see the sun beginning to set- affecting the coloration of the male's coat that was once an almost pure white, darken into a medium gray. His frame was not that of a large wolf's, nor one that was small, but perhaps an in between of the two. He was built to run, and his survival was based on his lightning fast reflexes and speed, although it wasn't quite enough this time.

The shell had lodged in, just above his left shoulder where the profuse bleeding had originated from. The flow of blood had only stopped due to the way he'd positioned and relaxed himself against the rocks of the cave, taking sanctuary in what seemed like an unknown world to him-'Twas not the forest he knew, but he'd have to settle for now, weary, hungry, and fatigued after sprinting away from the group of hunters across the plains beyond the woods, far outside the outskirts of the blossom forest, for what seemed like forever. As the last rays of the sun hit his eyes, he blinked several times- blotting out the dense light that was exposed to him. An intrigue however, for one eye was a dark, chestnut color, while the other was a light blue, as fair as the clear and open autumn sky.

Moving was not an option for him, as it would more than undoubtedly re-open the bullet wound that he was resting on, attempting to suppress along with the sharp, deep, and annoying pain he was feeling- making it only worse when his muscles tensed up in reaction to any little noises he heard coming in behind him, deeper into the dark, pitch black cave that lay before him. Would he dare venture in any deeper, he pondered to himself in quiet contemplation. The walls of the cave were covered with ancient markings and cracks, suggesting perhaps that at one time or another, a civilization had once existed here. No matter though, none of those thoughts had mattered at this point in time, for the wolf had shut his eyelids, hushed his panting with his jaw closing, and started to fall asleep, keeping his ears perked up anxiously just in case of an intruder- although that too, would soon become inactive as his mind relaxed itself unknowingly.
