IC: Darketh was pressing so hard against the wall, he felt like his spine was going to get crushed. But he didn't want to get any closer to the apparition. Why are you trapped down here? Darketh nodded vigorously. Great howls! Has my blood turned to ice? Eep! It's so� eek! I really don't like this! Darketh breathed heavily and quickly. He subconsciously pressed against Tryst for warmth and comfort. "Why am I�? Oh. Yes. I remember." It sighed sadly.

"I was once a real, living pup named Trodden. I� think I was a male. It is difficult to remember." Difficult to remember your own gender? "Jeez, how old are you?!" Darketh blurted out. Trodden stared at him with icy, unblinking eyes. "Not very old, in fact. Or do you mean how long I have been an apparition? About� um, by the way this cavern has weathered, I guess at least more than ten winters. Not very long really, it's just that small big memories always go first when you're l-l-like m-me. Um� Anyways �on with why I am trapped down here in this gloomy, hellish cavern.

"Uh, you see, I was a very curious pup. Once my and my bestest friend Ezererh ignored the barrier and walked into this cavern. It seemed fun and adventurous at the time� but now it only seems foolish.

"I fell into the crevice. What you just saw was my skull. I apparently needed the sound of a wolf's voice to free me from my body. Well, I died, and was about to go to the stars, but the presence of a Beast stopped me. I was scared, scared for my already wasted life. So I waited. I waited for justice to be served."
