The day had consisted of word games and serious questions. One minute they were snapping snide comments at each other and then they were near enough being nice to each other. Bleh... Being nice was so boring and well... nice. Nobody would ever and had ever witnessed Lycaon being nice, well maybe some but they weren’t alive to tell the story. There was however one exception and that was Apollonia. The pup had gotten under his skin and he couldn’t help but become softer around her, that however was for her and her alone. Nobody else, yet, deserved his softness and nice personality. As Lycaon sighed, the girl’s auds swivelled as if her interest had perked once again. The monster knew full well that his words were vague enough to keep her keen but not too boring, so she lost interest. He was actually rather enjoying her company, even if he didn’t exactly show it. She would have to earn his trust before he told her truthfully about his past and the Lycaon he had previously been. He didn’t want to be that monster anymore and somehow locking the past away was doing wonders for what was left of his soul. Saying that, it would take a hell of a lot of trust for anyone to find out much about Ly and in all honesty he liked it that way. As the conversation continued the girl raised her eyes and let an extremely soft smile appear on her jaws. So what was this? The ice queen was melting? Yes, Lycaon had shown some emotions but ones that were mostly associated with bad emotions, hers was of a nicer nature. ’Very interesting. It must've taken much hard training and work to do so. I'd like to train with you sometime. I'll probably get pummelled into the ground, but a good learning curve all the same.’ And so the digging began once more. Ly had to give her credit, she wasn’t one for giving up. ”You are correct. It did take a lot of time and patience but I was willing to do so.” The next words were ones that the monster didn’t exactly expect to hear, and he didn’t really believe them. He had met a femme rather like Lolita when he first came to Blossom and she had said exactly the same thing, only to disappear of the face of the earth. ”Hmmmm, really? I’ve heard that one before but if you wish I don’t mind. I’m sure you would put up a good enough fight.” The devil let a smirk grow on his face once again before it appeared that Lolita had something else to add. At the words the lad chuckled darkly, she was a feisty one for sure. The words were laced with a challenge, one that if she so wished Ly would take up. ”Ha, I’m sure I will be fine. I’m a big boy and can sort myself out whether I win or lose.” Dark stargazers watched as the girl took up studying once again. Surely she had gathered enough information the first time, or maybe she just wasn’t too good at it. It wasn’t even as if she was trying to hide the fact that she was studying him. No, she was doing it rather obviously. ”Oh I’m sorry. Have I got something on my coat? Or can you not help but stare at wolves that are prettier than yourself?” The stoic mask returned to his face however he wasn’t really annoyed. Hey ho, why not wind her up a bit more.
