Mekiko wasn't a mind reader so any thoughts that were thought wasn't known to him. Still Mekiko was a very kind soul and he wasn't one to think ill of anyone. Krensno could have insulted him and still he would have traveled with her. She could have told him that she wanted to eventually kill him and he would still trust her because of her honesty. He was quite the trusting wolf, it was probably the best thing possible that he'd happened upon her and not any other wolf in the mountain. "Outside of the game, I'm very grateful to have met you." He offered wagging his tail looking softly at the fem.

As she thought of her answer he looked around eagerly hoping she had known and his follow up question would make sense. But she hadn't and she'd asked him if he had. "No, I haven't known it. Not even in the sibling or parent sense." He offered looking at his paws as well. "Krensno, what do you think love feels like?" He asked the question and looked hopefully up at her. He wanted to know love someday but he knew someday was not today and it was not yesterday. Still he had met himself a friend and he was quite happy to have someone who he can speak to.

Mekiko smiled, as the day grew cool, they had been here for a while the sun was starting to set. It cast a lovely ambiance over the mountain and he was glad to share it with someone. “That’s pretty” he said in a low voice as he turned to where the sun was setting and the rich colors of the sky filled him for the first time. It was the first time he’d ever looked at the sunset.
