Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

”It’s nice to know that others put this marvellous world to good use.” She nodded slowly in response, thinking away. Hopefully, neither wolves from either of their packs would take to exploring each others territories however. She wasn't particularly appeased by the idea of injuring, possibly killing Dib, or her family for that matter. Best to be avoided. But Aerten did agree there were many other places to be explored, understood, mapped out. She had no idea what she liked about the activity; whether it be actually finding new places, or just the time alone with no worries. Still, it was good and it made Aerten appreciate the teen a little more.

Dib had seemed rather eager to break the awkward silence that had settled over the pair. ”So do you like hunting Aerten. Got any good tips? I’m not too good at it as you can imagine, but it never stops me learning.” She had a fair idea of how much more difficult it would be for the little bird to hunt. "You? Well...I like it, but I'm not exactly an expert..."One ear flicked as she considered. "Practice on smaller prey, first. Squirrels, rabbits, etc. Don't try anything if you're not confident about it, but it usually comes pretty naturally."Aerten just shrugged, unsure of what advice she could give the girl. Not having experience a leg injury bad enough to prevent her from activities like hunting, she didn't have any experience with it.

”If you don’t mind me asking... What’s it like living in Abendrot. I don’t want all the gory details just the basics. That is if you even want to answer... Which you don’t have too.” She stiffened. And this is where their differences became difficult, however it wasn't like she hadn't seen it coming. Dib couldn't have really had much honest input on her pack, nor would she expect her to. Choosing her words very carefully, she replied, "It's good, though I imagine very different from yours. We're an army, but there is a certain level of...care there." Surely it wouldn't kill to give the girl that much? Aerten wasn't too sure. Abentrot wouldn't take lightly to rumours spreading that they were softer than originally thought, but Dib had specified no gory details so it was the best she could possibly do in this situation.

Turning the question on it's owner she replied, "What's it like living in Saw Tooth then?" She was curious about their different lifestyles, because they surely would differ. As far as she was aware, Moth was their current Alpha and their pack was generic wolf hierarchy. Dib had described them as her family at one point however, or at least she thought she had. So they were obviously softer than the warriors of Abentrot. Seeing the fire that had burned in the girl's eyes however, she wouldn't say any less dangerous. All the more reason to take care I don't have the faintest tinge of Saw Tooth on me when I return, she thought rather dryly to herself. That'd go down a treat.
