Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

It was strangely comforting to be in the presence of one she would have otherwise be commanded to kill; difficult to explain, sure, but comforting nonetheless. Perhaps it was the knowing that somehow she had been deemed inedible or something, or maybe it was the sheer fact that she was doing okay (in her eyes, at least) at getting to know the creatures better than the others. Of course, she probably wouldn't have felt so damn good if, say, Covet was Tobias or even Jaidah wherever they were. Instead, she reveled in the calmness, that insistent half smile still plastered across her features as she watched on. There was nothing really all that familiar about him the more she looked at him - he was... snake like, narrow and winding it seemed. Perhaps it was simply her imagination warping him into some fantastical display of demonic prowess - he was just a wolf, surely, just a wolf to be explored.

There was a fleeting moment when he too grinned that she frowned in thought, suddenly curious as to his own intentions in following her scent. Yeah, she had marked a trail but there was a choice on whether or not he would follow it. Whatever! - what was important was that he had come and she had him alone this time rather than trying to defend Fathom's mental state. Rogue had never been an issue - why would she have been? As far as Malina was concerned they were, dare she say, friends.

"Perhaps it is Fathom's touch you wish for a little more, no?"

She chose her words deliberately, a brow rising up once more as a low chuckle resonated within her chest. She had noticed to some extent the way his eyes had lingered on her pack mate during their last encounter, not to mention the wound he had inflicted. It was a part of their nature that... struck her curiosity. As he moved forward, as she did, mirroring his movements with effortless grace though she dare take an addition step forward, meeting his gaze levelly with a toothy grin. Concupisco? The Ancient Tongue - how quaint, but certainly it would not surprise her that wolves would use such names. After all, such a language was seemingly much more common than Heyel would have ever liked to admit.

"Vafer."

She offered her name with a dip of her skull, a momentarily bow before she moved once more, her steps beginning in a wide circle around the area. She expected him to move with her, though she had no quarrel with circling around him as a shark would. She inspected him - his height, the distribution of his weight, every single inch.

"I'd like to re-visit the conversation from our first encounter - your, how you put it, biological needs?"
