The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

The first to arrive- beside Seline herself, was an adolescent wolf of a rather handsome russet tone. By a simply once over glance of her venom gaze, the Queen knew he was rather inexperienced and had much to learn, but then again- they all did. He did not speak, and so he was not spoken to. Only the bold and confident ones were addressed after they themselves made an attempt. Otherwise, they were treated with nothing but observation and silence. As for the next yet again male to show up, he surprised the blood and snow female by speaking. Introducing himself as Grayhills, and asking to join their pack. With a subtly arched brow, Sel allowed her gaze to linger on the boy a moment longer, before then glancing in front of herself toward her son- Quirino. Since he had called such a meeting, would be be the one to make the decisions? Or would he look to Cade, or perhaps even Seline. If Cade ever showed up, that is. By her scent, it was apparent she had inherited leadership after Seline had went off on her own, but it was also apparent she had not been around in some time. The stale tang of her scent markings told the Queen all she needed to know.

The boy who asked for acceptance avoided eye contact, and held his posture rather small and non-threatening. A smart boy, was the conclusion the old Alpha came to. Perhaps a worthy protégé that could be molded any which way. She would simply have to find out for herself. While some thoughts passed easily and fluidly through her mind, the scent of an old pack member brought Seline to the present. It was the barest whiff of Clover that she had caught, and, almost expecting to see the pale girl step out from the forest, she swung her skull around in the direction of the scent. Off to the side was a somewhat young male, quiet, impassive, but with bright, oh so very intelligent eyes. Why he happened to smell of Clover was unknown to the Queen, but she knew she would eventually find out. As she had not done with the first two, with this one- the snow and blood Queen allowed a subtle smirk of sorts to caress her muzzle, stretching the scarred forever smile taunt across her top jaw, giving a sense of terrible beauty to her near perfect facial structure. She would have to find some quiet time alone with that one- his silence brought intruige and mystery to Sel's mind. She liked him already. She would seek him out after business was done and through.

Eric. It was a slight ping that went off in her brain. She recognized his scent immediately, but she did not show any outward reaction to it. Instead, she steadied her mind and took her sweet time in glancing in the boys direction. The moment she did, a rather pleasant shiver caressed her fourm as intense green met captivating ice. The ice is expressive, wicked, tempting. Inviting. Without the slightest thought, the blood and snow Queen was moving from her position before Quirino to just beside Eric and the quiet stranger she liked already, making herself right at home as she reclined beside the pale boy and tilted her skull ever so slightly before glancing up at him. "So nice of you to come, Eric." As ever, when she spoke, Seline's voice purred and caressed, her honey tones never failing to come off as welcoming, warm- deadly. Of course, being ever the lady- she had waited until after Eric had spoken to the boy beside him, before taking her own turn to address him. It seemed the two knew one another, and that might just work out for them all in the long run.

"Greetings, stranger. I've not been home for a small while, and there are new faces I see." The same smirk she had given him before was now slowly creeping back across her jaw. Tilting her jaw now to the opposite side as it had been while speaking to Eric, she kept her bright venom gaze on the boy as she finished off. "Tell me, dear- what is your name?" The term of endearment was nothing personal. It was something the old Alpha did often- pet names, nicknames, and anything she particularly felt like using. Seline was indeed a free spirit, and she never allowed anyone or anything to hinder her thoughts or desires. Not even her family, the most important thing to her, could alter them. Satanicans were prideful beings, after all. She'd be damned if she didn't get what she wanted- and the Satanican Queen always got what she wanted. Always.
