Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

I'm An Angel, Demon's Beware
She had tried, so damn hard. Her eyes seeming to forever linger on the form of Tarquin. However she was not stupid. She had come to realize her inexperience would be her downfall, and for whatever reason this male had he seemed determined to have Glorall. So she backs away, giving one last savage snarl at the creature Tarquin, She bows ever so slightly to show him that she was done. He had one and gained her respect through battle. Never before had Sinopa been made to endure this sort of pain. She had felt the pain of the heart, physical pains of this extent were so much worse. Turning her back she hobbles away, hardly able to put weight on her hind right leg. A whimper escapes her regretfully as she limps away. It is then she feels eyes, and hears his magical voice. The voice of the one who made her feel complete, the voice of her imprint and her sisters mate. Walking away from the clearing she goes toward him, to weak to resist the alluring call of his voice. Once she comes to a stop in front of him she raises her eyes to meet his own. The pull still as forceful as the one that contained the sun and the moon. She fights it, the fatigue and pain. The adrenaline wearing off as she sways ever so slightly on her paws listening to the other half of her soul. She gives out a laugh.

"Nil opus est anima mea massa vitiis"
(No need my soul, I am completely normal)

She forgets that many cannot understand her native tongue. But in her hindered state she herself does not realize that she had switched to a language more comfortable. Everything hazes as reality sinks in. Her eyes widening at the blood dripping from her neck. These were her first scars, scars gained trying to save a friends empire. Tears spring into her eyes, her knees finally collapsing from fatigue. She looks up at Kane silent tears pouring from her eyes she speaks.

"I let him down, his empire its all falling. I let him down, my keeper of secrets."

She highly doubts what she says makes any sense to Kane but he is hear and she knows she can trust him. For the first time in her life she breaks down in front of another. When the sky fell she cried alone, when her mother was announced dead she cried alone. Her pain was always hers and hers alone, but now Kane was here and she let him in. Let him see the sorrow from everything shine within her violet blue optics. Whining she buries her head within her paws in shame.

"Everything is so wrong Kane, so wrong."

She lets herself lay at his paws, blooding oozing from the wounds body aching from blooming bruises. All that runs through her mind is why, why did she always disappoint everyone?
