Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

i don't care about anyone else

I am amazed by my surroundings, the way the land has changed from green to a mosaic of colors ranging from yellow to bright red, the way the grasses are also losing their summer time colorations. I love it, I have a habit of marvelling at the way the seasons affect lands, watching as the entire landscape changes seemingly before one's eyes. I move with the practiced grace of a seasoned killer, my paws crushing dry foliage beneath their massive pads, I do not care about making noise at this point; I only wish to get to where ever it is I am going. I watch as another wolf makes her way across the terrain, my bright orange eyes keeping up with her frame as she moves toward me, obviously spotting me. I am not difficult to miss upon observation, my body being larger than most and my coloration striking against the bright plumage of the earthen structure around us. I stick out like a rather sore thumb.

My dark greyish brown coat blends nicely with the surroundings, it is the lighter ash grey that makes me stand out, and my eyes would help me blend this season. I am thinner than usual, my normal time to shine is winter, when everything is as drab as my pelt and I can camoflage myself better. My coat does shine rather nicely, despite the only substantial thing I have had to eat are a few rabbits and some field mice. She speaks as she approaches and my dark brown rimmed ears cup forward to catch the sweet sounding tones as they flit towards me. Katsumi. I mimic in my thoughts, committing her name to memory as she speaks. I smile kindly and open my mouth to reply, my vocals rough and slightly hoarse from disuse. I have not spoken to any wolf save for my father since leaving my homeland, and the journey here was very long and difficult, especially since it took the entire summer. "I am new to this region, yes. A pleasure to meet you, miss Katsumi. I am Sarin. Do you know these lands well?" I had not a clue as to where I was, and if she was a native, perhaps she could help me out. I was not too proud of a male to ask for locational direction, especially when I did not know the lay of the land myself. I know better than to wander about lost and without an idea about the land. I smile kindly at her, awaiting a response before I said anything further.

I wave my tail behind me, looking over her as she would most likely be doing to me. She was beautiful, her pelt a pure white, the dark black markings on her adding to that allure. Her eyes are what hold me the most, however, shining beautifully in the sunlight. I smile charmingly as I make eye contact with her, stunning blues meeting fiery orange. I do believe she is very attractive, even given her smaller stature. She seems delicate, though I know appearences are often deceiving, and no..I am not judging her. I think she is very beautiful, but the most poisonous things in the world often are, so I will simply wait and watch, getting to know her. I really do hope to know her better, she seems nice. I smell the dust on her pelt, see it in the way her white fur is slightly tinged with it. I wonder if she is from a pack, as the distinguishable smell of many wolves is on her. My hind end lowers to meet the ground as I move myself into a reclined position, ready to settle into a natural conversation with one so beautiful.
