Sample post:
Her chest hurt… It always hurt.

She laid flat on her back amongst patches of grass. Hands gently clutching at the ground; It was damp from the morning dew. Dark brown eyes were hidden behind closed lids. Her breathing was soft but her chest grew heavier with each breath… Her diaphragm would tremble under the imaginary weight of the world. She could feel a shutter rip down her spine like the aftershock of an earthquake. Her eyes opened slowly as a single tear streaked down her face. It was like liquid silver, gleaming in the sunlight that broke through trees.

This is what loneliness does to a person. It engulfs you, body and soul. Leaving you shuttering in some dark corner, forgotten and unseen. Left to her own demise. Left alone to become something bitter and dark. She was left alone to become everything she hated.. everything she wasn’t… She was loving, you see. Kind and tender… She couldn’t help being cursed and broken. It wasn’t her fault she was flawed. That’s what she wished everyone would understand.

She sat up slowly, propping herself up on her elbows. Her hair hung in loose strands behind her shoulders. The beams of sunlight were warm against her tan skin. The smell of jasmine filled her nose as she regained awareness of her surroundings. Sounds of falling leaves and songbirds erupted in her ears. It was the music of nature. The only thing she knew, really. Voices were no longer a common thing for her. She made a point of that. It was for the safety of others and herself. She couldn’t bear it anymore. It would’ve driven her insane.

She thought back to those moments…

A panic attack… That’s how she used to describe it when she was younger. It got worse with age. It became more than that. During the incident she was fine but after she would go through a series of things. Her body would feel as though it were being split in two. She would feel limp and heavy and finally pass out. During her moments of unconsciousness she would endure something similar to a night terror. Screaming and lashing out… That wasn’t it though. Others described it as being invaded. Having their minds snatched away from them and trifled with.

She shook her head, clearing her mind of the memories. It was imperative she stay in seclusion… She had convinced herself of it…
