 NAME: JAX AGE: 4 GENDER: Male EYE COLOR: A crisp shade of blue that is dark around the outer rings and lightens to almost an icy grey at the pupil. APPEARANCE: Jax stands at about 30 inches and weighs 75 pounds, he is large for his breed, being a Mexican Wolf. He has long legs that appear to be dipped in a creme white color and a shaggy coat, the color of chocolate. His ears flop forward a tad at the tips and he is very lean around his ribs and hips, but as you reach his legs it is noticeable how leg built they are. Jax's tail that is about 6 inches long. PERSONALITY : In a few words he is quiet (I mean dead silent), the loner usually, doesn't trust others very easily, but when he does trust, he trusts with everything he has, calm and lacks a temper most animals have, he is compassionate usually, and dedicated, once he starts something he rarely ever quits until the job is done. HISTORY : Jax had a normal beginning with a rogue pack on the outskirts of the land, his family had long been separated before the horrible destruction of the land. This made them even more of the unhealthy loners, due to this reason he was the only pup that survived birth. His mother and father were a pair of the imprinting that happens to some. It was incredible to watch. Though they hurt over the other lost pups, Jax soon became a handful. By the time he was two a stray she-wolf had found her way into the little family's territory of choice. She had bright fiery chestnut eyes and a creme coat, she tiny but loved deeply. Jax fell hopelessly in love with her, she was his mate for a year before the accident happened. They talked of having pups and though it wouldn't of been easy feeding anymore mouths, they desired such a dream of little puppies. It was a cold night, a terribly cold winter night , Jax had left to go on and find food for the group of loners. He had been on a 12 hour trip with his father and had brought back a couple of rabbit, he noticed the smell of fresh blood before the older wolf and sprinted. They were met by the sight of two dead she-wolves and a nearly dead cougar. The two males ended it and mourned, Jax left without saying a goodbye and has been drifting ever since. The wolf wants to end his suffering by imprinting knowing the pain will likely cease to exist if replaced by those feelings, he has all but sworn himself to a vow of silence until that moment of imprinting. IMPRINTABILITY - highly able SAMPLE - I was too new to these lands to know the implication of what my presence here meant. Of course I noticed all the couples around, but my naïve mind assumed it was a mere coincidence. There was a faint scent of blood, sweat, fear, and relaxation. I smiled and let the tension flee from my body. The wolves were gone, and though I had an injured leg, I was alive. I had been spared by the stallion Tetradore. I had never met so noble a creature. I could only hope that he would offer me protection from the cruelties of the world. Oh if only I knew. I moved slowly, avoiding the couples and their mating rituals. I wanted no part of that at the moment. While I may be old enough, and it may be breeding season (and nature decided I truly did want to be pregnant); I knew I wasn’t mentally ready to have a foal. I was terrified of everything. The thought of bringing a child into this dangerous, frightening world was even more mortifying than the vague thought of being raped. Oh, I’d heard of such things, but I could never imagine such a thing could occur wherever I was. That was something that happened far away – in stories told by old crones and grumpy lower ranking stallions (who weren’t allowed breeding rights in their herd). Noises nearby made me stop and turn my beautifully sculpted head. I was a mutt by blood, but you would think me purebred angel. My legs were long and muscled, head refined and perfect, small ears perked forward, eyes eager for knowledge. My neck was just the right length, thick and solid; my shoulders sloped, barrel slightly rounded and healthy. My hips were wide and strong, and my coat was a beautiful chestnut. Oh yes, what boy could resist me? But honestly, I am not here to look for a man. I am here because I don’t know where “here” is. I’ve already told you that if I had any inkling what could happen to me in this herd; I would be so far, far away. But since I am here and have heard a noise, I will simply see what crawls out of the forest. I hope it’s not more wolves. I don’t see Tetradore, and I know I can’t run away – my injured leg is far too weak to allow myself the life-saving action of running. (This is from a really long time ago. At an old RP) RULES READ?
