Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

From the darkness Salem edges. It's a strange thing... she'd been outside Jaye's den, waiting for her to come around for what seemed like ages. Now she was alone. Tobias had come. She was alone. Salem figured that was how it usually went. They all died, they all left her, and then there was the imprint that longed to destroy her. Hell, at this point Salem longed to destroy herself. Clearly that was the best option, she was the one that seemed to be the root of all problems... the root of all heartache too. She ached... she ached so badly. Salem couldn't keep track of things any more. Time didn't pass right. Time just wasn't. That was the problem.

It wasn't Devil May Cry that drew her out, not today. It was Dude. He'd come back around, the man that had loved the one creature that had ever bothered to love her. There' s something in her that longs for something to trust, so she goes to him. With pale, ghostly eyes fixed somewhere far off, she comes. The ghost can't think let alone... breathe. Let alone get a handle on the situation at hand. She doesn't know any more. Salem has a hard time knowing.

The ghost doesn't know the strange man that's appeared, but she moves to Dude's side. The girl is quiet, curious maybe. Salem listens as he says things she already knows-- Natalya is gone too. Everyone is gone. Everyone leaves. It hurts her to know that she's one of the only ones left. She doesn't want to be the only one left... it hurts. Glorall is empty, and she aches.

The ghost is quiet, watching the pair ever so simply. It's not her place to speak, so she sits at Dude's side and simply watches. She watches and she waits, and maybe it will be her place to speak... maybe it won't be. Things can continue to be up in the air. It would be okay.
