Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Okay, so what had she expected from Letum? Truth be told, she had absolutely no idea but she did know she had not quite expected... this. Was this, well, was it them getting along? Hell, she had practically offered him a title on a golden platter, sprinkled with silver flakes and served up over her cold dead body (where he would realistically have to ply it from) and yet... no, he did not want it. She blinked, truly dumbfounded by his remark before she brushed it off with a low chuckle and shrug of her shoulders. It was easy for her to mask it all, to brush away her thoughts with laughter - she had been trained to do so, to maintain a facade regardless of what transpired. Right now, Letum was no exception. If they kept it up, maybe one day he'd break through but not today, no.

"You're a little too thin for me, don't you think?"

She again aimed to knock him with her paw, this time in the ribs before she shuffled away a few inches, throwing him a mischievous grin. At least she was being nice, right? Calling him that was better than calling him, say, an idiot... right? Right - definitely better. Of course, she had expected the news of his beloved not-so-mini me to shock him and she had to check he was still breathing; he looked trouble (something she raised a brow at) but was certainly still breathing. She almost breathed a sigh of relief... almost being the key word.

"I don't think he quite... likes the way they look. If you come to Diveen, you'll get a chance to see them."

Again, she shrugged as if it were hardly a concern, hardly anything to be discussed of. Honestly, though, the pups were quite unusual - one, rumors said, had some kind of mythical dream ability or something. The other was a bouncy brat who had too many teeth in her opinion. Black, though, something she snickered at beneath her breath as she stared forward, lips still curled up in a display of pleasure. Poor Azrael must not have seen that coming. She relaxed, though, soon after, sinking back onto her haunches and even leaning just so slightly towards Letum, her eyes wide as she awaited his thoughts - or lack of - on the matter that had bothered her so much. Another thing she did not know what to expect from - would he think she crazy, would he run to Heyel and label her some kind of traitor? His response caught her off guard once more, her jaw falling slack and her lips moving absently. Words, words weren't working dammit. Why not? Why was it so shocking that he would say something kind?

"Uh... th... thank you?"

It was all she could muster for the time being, her attention quickly torn away from him by the sudden sound of paw against stone. She had hardly enough time to react before the chewed ear landed by her, his dark form looming over Letum. Part of her desired to run or leap away but... she had been told, been taught, of how he operated. Tobias - how could they deny his presence? He was the King of them all, the one she had been waiting to meet for some five years. Now, it seemed, was time - fate had wanted to test her. If she were to take to the demons, to train them, would she need to abolish their king? She had turned to face him entirely, her body lifting to her paws and eyes narrowing as they sought his for the briefest moment. Perhaps such an act would have been more effective had Letum not leapt away in a flurry of shouting and movement, a reaction that merited a sharp growl from Malina though she dared not take her eyes off the form of the black male. Letum was to be ignored for a moment and a part of her, a surprisingly large part, hoped he would be smart enough to slip away.

"Aaliyah," she repeated, nodding her head slowly, repeating the word as she attempted to... she didn't know, understand him perhaps? Aaliyah, yes, they had her within Diveen but he had been kept out. Is that what he wanted? Was he capable of understanding - there was only one way to know, to discover.

"I can take you to Aaliyah - intellegere?"

Perhaps he would know the sound, the word even, spoken in the Ancient Tongue. She spoke slowly, ensuring each word was pronounced as a singularity. Though she had some kind of sour taste in her mouth from the thought of Aaliyah, she trusted the female to be smart enough to speak the language near the male, to demonstrate what was not to be eaten. She stood her ground, watching and turning on a dime as Tobias shifted by, his trajectory leading to Letum. She had to wait - if she attacked too early, too close, she would undoubtedly be tossed aside too easily. But she could not risk Letum; instead, she positioned herself, bracing herself behind Tobias and attempted to catch Letum's eye. Leave.

"Tobias," she spoke again, her voice louder this time in some vain attempt to distract him, to bring his attention back to her, "I take you to Aaliyah, if you do not eat."

What did they have to lose, right?
