Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

”There is no need to be sorry Aerten.” The words did little to ease the growing guilt in the femme, but she kept a light expression on her face, nodding at the girl's words. It was a skill the russet assassin had mastered long ago, wearing masks. Most wolves wouldn't know how she felt, unless she actually went out of her way to allow them. It was just safer for her that way. Sometimes, that veiling that emotion kept her alive and in one piece, and she didn't regret the fact she'd been forced into learning it.

Her next answer, Dib left alone. It was clear to her that her own lyrics had interested the young teen, but her silence told Aerten it would be left. For now anyway. If previous experience had taught her anything, it was that Dib was too curious for her own good. It wasn't the last she would hear of the topic, not by far. Hopefully, by then she'd have figured out a way to explain herself clearly, or have come up with a damn good excuse.

The girl's smile had encouraged her, her interest becoming more clear by the second. ”I agree with you to be honest. Not only would you have the challenge of finding the perfect area to start a pack, but you would have to fend off others to protect you’re territory. And then you would have to round wolves up to join your ranks and you and only you would be in charge of deciding the fate of your pack. You could make it into anything you would like. Mine would probably be like Saw Tooth, though slightly more adventurous and outgoing.” Aerten's banner had swished across the stony terrain, betraying her obvious excitement at the idea. "Wouldn't it be amazing," she breathed softly, eyes gaining a slightly clouded look. "Defending your territory, being responsible for your pack members...You really could make it into anything you'd like..." She trailed off, becoming tangled up in the thoughts. Wouldn't it be amazing? Unfortunately, no free territory was around Blossom at this point in time, so their dream was pretty void. But...Aerten froze. So many wolves roamed the free lands, needed support and help...They couldn't start a pack on pack lands, no, but nothing could stop them from having their own little group. Of course, the idea was ridiculous. She'd just met Dib; and she was 99.9% sure the girl thought Aerten wasn't quite mentally stable.

Tuning back into their conversation, she murmured to the girl, "I wish it were possible Dib." There were just so many obstacles in both of their ways. Dib had a family, who probably would be horrified and terrified of their daughter traipsing off on some misguided adventure. Aerten would be forcibly dragged back to Abentrot; and probably clawed to bits by her King. It was so complicated! She sighed. Dib seemed to have reignited the adventurous spark that had once blazed on inside the warrior, leaving her restless.
