Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

She gave him the most quizzical of looks, but it lasted only a fraction of a moment- before she was suddenly there. And by there, she had simply drawn close, finally on her own accord- and yet the intensity both threw him off and intoxicated him. She felt so warm, and his flesh burned where she nuzzled him, pushed up against him. His violet gaze found its closure as his breath fell as a sigh past pale lips. Sen was in paradise in that moment. She was inhaling his scent, deeply, he knew, and in turn he swamped his senses in her own. Feminine, sweet, warm- Hush. It was her scent that would forever remained engraved within his mind. And she was speaking, murmuring her oh so sweet words to him. Only, they did not register. Perhaps it was because he was too far gone in her touch, in her mere presence- and even when she pulled away, still, the words did not register.

Her actions did not register, either. In the blink of an eye, she was gone. She had torn away from him, bolting from the clearing- and from him. By the time Sen allowed his eyes to reopen, his gaze to refocus- the red head was no where to be seen. Her scent hung heavy in the air around him, in his senses, on his coat. But she was gone. Pale jaws parted once, hanging open ever so slightly- before shutting. Violet eyes danced all around him, looking, searching, craving. The first thought through his mind was a joke. A simple joke she was playing on him, and she would be lurking just beyond the trees. Only, when he pushed himself from the soil, trotting back the way they had come- she was not there. She was not near the remains of the meal they had shared when he reached it. She was no where in the vacinity. Hush was gone.

A sudden, unexpected yet completely so sensation blossomed within his chest. Pain. A deep, gut wrenching, heart breaking pain spread throughout his entire fourm. It felt as if his insides were melting, as if he had been fed a massive amount of acid and it was eating him away. But it was none of these things. It was that simple thought that he knew was true, the thought that was one of the most honest things he had ever thought. She was gone. His reaction was not normal- Sen did not know how to react. He had never interacted, felt, nor experienced what he had around her. And she was gone. He wanted to panic. He wanted to run after her, to follow her scent and make her stay. But he knew he could not. He knew that she could not stay, as much as he- as well as she- so desperately wanted. But he knew her home. She had opened up to him, told him. He knew where to find her again, and he would- one day. Perhaps not this day, but in the future, Sen would find the russet lady he had taken a fancy to. And he would not let her go again.
