Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

Dib
--------------------------------------------------

’Wouldn't it be amazing, Defending your territory, being responsible for your pack members...You really could make it into anything you'd like...’ The words trailed off almost like Dibs, however the teen was sure it wasn’t to make sure she didn’t waffle on like Dib had. The teen watched the older femme’s face intently. It had changed somewhat from when they had first started speaking. At first it had been stoic with rather unpleasant facial expressions, but now it was filled with a fire, a burning interest that sparked the girl’s curiosity to no end. The two had more in common than they had initially thought and bit by bit the young lass was beginning to learn more about the real Aerten. She was a much nicer wolf than her Abendrot counterpart and in all honesty, Dib was starting too really like the older ess.

The pair had been silent for a few minutes as each drifted off into their own little words. It was only when Aerten’s voice began again that Dib floated back into the conversation. ’I wish it were possible Dib.’ The fae nodded her russet cranium in acknowledgement of the words. Dib always tried to look on the positive side of everything, but it looked like Aerten; although excited about the idea, had given up already. Yes, there may be many obstacles standing in the way of the pairs dream but nothing was ever impossible. If you thought about it and planned it precisely then one day, near or far was unknown, but one day your dreams would come true. ”Me too. Who knows, maybe one day it won’t just be a dream. As my mother always says, you must never give up on your dreams. They make life worth living.” Cai’s words were generally law. Dib remembered the time her mother had said those words to her. She had been a pup and had gotten upset about her leg stopping her from doing every day activities but since that day she had never let anything stand in the way of what she believed in.

”Can you imagine it Aerten? Standing at the head of a clearing. Your loyal subjects looking to you for wisdom and guidance. The breeze ruffling your fur as you gaze over your land.” The girl sighed happily, the whole scene playing out in her mind. ”It would be wonderful.” Now that Dib had found something that Aerten didn’t mind talking about, the young lass would carry on the subject for as long as she could. All the while she was finding out things about Aerten that were making her even more likable. Of course, if it did happen, all of Dibs family would be welcome in her pack and although she knew he was entitled to the throne of Saw Tooth, she would allow Markus free access whenever he pleased. He was the girl’s best friend and was usually the second wolf involved in conversations like these. Though it worked just fine with Aerten as part of the pair. She wasn’t at all what she had first seemed.
