His arrival at the pack meeting was quiet and quite possibly could have gone completely unnoticed if he had chosen to remain in the shadows of the edge of the clearing. But despite his family’s somewhat distant dynamics, Sleekwing did enjoy the company of others and did not seek a life of loneliness. Emerging from the treeline, he jogged towards the growing group. His tail wagged happily behind him, lifted slightly in a show of his excitement. Moving amongst the gathering group of wolves he greeted those he knew. He first approached Alcide in a respectful manner, ears pressed back slightly as he brushed his shoulder against his father’s. Turning to Swallowbane and Ceal then, he touched his nose to Swallow’s shoulder. Sleek often worried his brother's frame of mind - he frequently seemed de profundis - although he wasn't sure how to approach the issue. Putting the thought aside, he playfully batted a paw at their sister, offering a genuine smile to her before he turned away at the yipping arrival of a shewolf he did not know by name.

It was then that he noticed Camelot and his mate sitting not far off, being excitedly greeted by the exuberant grey female. Deciding he absolutely needed to know this wolfess, he trotted over to the small gathering that now included Camelot, Laila, the bouncing grey one, and the female that he had often seen in the company of his brother – she must be Calista – Sleekwing greeted them. “Hello, Camelot, Rainbow,” he said, having just caught Camelot speaking her name. “And you must be Laila,” he said to the shewolf hugged to the hunter’s side. “And if I am not mistaken, Calista?” he continued, offering the group a smile. “I am Sleekwing.” His tail wagged through the exchange, glad for the opportunity to better get to know the pack that was his family. It could only bring strength to them.

Pivoting his body slightly so that he stood next to Camelot, creating a semi circle among the small group that faced Alcide, Sleek lowered his form into a sitting position. Per usual, he felt no need to place himself at the head of the gathering – he may have been given the title of prince by birth, but he felt much more comfortable coalescing with the ranks of the pack. Someday he would find his rightful place among them, perhaps first as Ursa Major or Canis Major, then someday Hercules. All he knew, in his heart, was that Sirius would someday belong to Daenerys, as it should. Today he hoped that his father would bestow some task upon him which he could hopefully execute better than he had his last.
