Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

’You've obviously put much thought into this. It'd probably be one of the best feelings in the world.’ The girl chuckled silently to herself. It was true she really had given the subject a lot of thought. It mainly popped up when she was by herself gazing over the lake that coursed through Saw Tooth. It was a fantasy that kept Dib going through difficult times and provided her with the inspiration to carry on with a rather challenging life. She wondered whether it had provided Aerten with any comfort over the years though she guessed that the older ess would use other more mature thoughts to get her through things. Dib could get away with slightly immature thoughts seen as she was still just a teen, but in few months she would be a young adult and would be expected to shut and lock the childish dreams away and she would... On the outside. On the inside she would let them run wild and free. Her thoughts could never be caged, just like her.

The next words from Aerten were laced with curiosity and in all honesty Dib didn’t know how to answer it truthfully. She didn’t know herself. Although she loved to explore with all her heart she loved her family just as much and didn’t know if her mother could bare another family member disappearing. If it would hurt her queen that much she would much rather wait till or if her father ever came back. She could bide her time for that long she supposed. ’So, you don't plan on remaining in Saw Tooth your whole life then?’ The girl stayed silent for a few minutes before trying to answer as truthfully as she possibly could. ”To be honest Aerten I’m not at all sure of that answer. I love exploring but I love my family. I have stayed in Saw Tooth this long because my mother wouldn’t have been able to cope with another disappearance.” She paused slightly wondering if she had said too much before carrying on. Aerten had proven to be rather trustworthy as of now and so Dib didn’t exactly mind sharing information anymore. ”I guess I will just have to see how things pan out. You never know where the wind may take you. You just have to be patience and wait for fate to pick you up and provide you with opportunities.” She smiled slightly at the girl before turning to gaze over the ledge once again. The view seemed to be getting prettier every time she looked out over it. Saw Tooth was clear to her eye and she could just picture the tiny dots of pack members scurrying round the pack. It was even more beautiful from up here.

Turning the attention back to Aerten once again the lass shuffled slightly making herself more comfortable. ”I guess you are extremely loyal to Abendrot and so I won’t ask you about leaving, but have you got any plans within your pack. I mean, I’m sure you would do well with a title... If you haven’t already been given one.”
