The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.

All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.

Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

Autumn already had a son, but he didn't know where the pup was. Probably dead. And the others that he didn't give a shit about? Probably dead as well. But little Nickolai. Reason why the brute took him away from his original mother was that he didn't want him turning out like goody-two-shoes her. Nickolai was a exact replica of him, only a bit darker in color. Taking in a lone pup, well, he wasn't sure he could do it though he changed a bit. He wasn't a cannibal anymore, and hasn't played with any girls for a while.

The russet boy looked down at the pup, and listened. When the pup introduced himself, and tried to read the older titan's thoughts, it didn't work so well. "Nomni, huh. And no, I was not thinking that, but it's definetely creative. I have to give your mom that.

And then the pup spoke again, about not having a home, and understanding about protecting the pack. He still had the blankest of expressions on his face, and then replied, with his face softer looking, but it still had that stern appearance. "You don't have one?" That was really all he said there, for sympathy was shown. He was kicked out of his family as a young pup for being different.

When the pup said he was sorry for tresspassing, and might as well get going, Autumn stopped him, with words. "Well, if I were to give you a home here, you'd have to grow up to protect Abendrot, and be loyal. Plus, some people here are quite the bother and rude. And, if I were to be your guardian for a while, I wouldn't be able to watch you that often. You'd have to grow up by yourself for most of the time." He sat down. "So what's your choice?" His amber eyes stared into the pup's, waiting patiently (forcefully) for an answer.
